Quirky guest house, very friendly, helpful staff. Continental style breakfast for 5 euros, great value. Our bathroom was small. About 20 minutes walk out of the city but a bus stop just across the road.
An amazing house with great interior. Friendly staff. A nice continental breakfast for a budget. The inner city is a 10 minute walk away, and a busstop is down the street.
The front desk person was very helpful with recommendations and directions. The location is walking distance for shopping, restaurants and night life. Park on site and walk because the traffic is awful!
A great find - much better value for money than other options in the area. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. A short walk to the town centre with lots of bars and restaurants.
The staffs was very friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean, the only downside was it was in the city and leaving the windows open was not ideal on the weekend. The noise can get quite loud.
Art-filled walls make this quirky, conveniently-located space a wonderful find. The room is well appointed and the building is very quiet. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately it was only a one night stay but the guest house seemed like a lovely place. I arrived late and left early but got a glimpse into the nooks and crannies with art and books in all the public places. I couldn’t get breakfast as due to covid the room wasnt open. My room was very comfortable with shower and eco friendly soap.
What a fun place to stay. It’s like being in a 19th century salon - and definitely check out the bathroom in the entry way. The porcelain toilet is vintage wonderful. The staff were amazing too. They literally stood out in the street blocking traffic to help us back into the parking space - and then kindly allowed us to keep the car after check out so that we wouldn’t have to tackle parallel parking. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!
My boyfriend and I stayed here during a very disappointing St Patricks Day - with everything shut down because of COVID, we had no choice but to hole up in our hotel room. The staff made it as pleasant as absolutely possible with a lovely drink offer. Would stay again if in Cork.
My only piece of negative feedback is that I hope they take a moment to clean the inside of the electric kettle, as ours was black inside and quite unappealing.
