"I came as a solo traveler. The stay was quite, safe, comfortable, and clean. I arrived and did not realize the proximity to nearby resturants, for someone without a car. The owners were very kind they made me a salad and sandwich for dinner that evening. There was a continental breakfast included. They even arranged trabsportation the next morning for me. "We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta da Marka! It was beautiful and on such a picturesque spot along the river. It was so relaxing and a restful spot for our honeymoon. The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient.
