"Just stayed over nite prior to flight home Coordination with Leonardo worked well and he referred us to excellent lunch (Al Paradise) on a Sunday afternoon. Offered to take us to airport ( at 2:30am), but we had other option. Very limited utensils (pkates, forks, knives, etc) and no shower curtain we’re only negatives "

" The room smelled damp. We didn’t have bathroom towels for 3 days and we had to sent many times messages to the host to bring us."

"First, the positives - room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Now the negatives (1) hard to find the place there is a small sign on the door, about 10 by 12 inches and no street name. We had to ask a few locals and most of them didn’t know where it was. (2) nowhere did it say you have to climb 50+ stairs in a very hot stairwell, to get to the room. There is no elevator. We were on a three week trip with two large suitcases. We found a man in the street and paid him...

"This house is conveniently located very close to the Bari airport and is within walking distance of the ocean. The host is very kind, attentive and flexible."

"Lovely spacious room in the old city close to the Fort. We had room 104 of the collection of Blanco B&B’s which is over a Bar. This does mean it can be very noisy early in the morning when they’re setting up the cafe and also the early morning garbage and bottle collections are very loud. The people who run the cafe s are lovely and we enjoyed a delicious and basic Italian breakfast there each morning as part of our booking. "
