Splash Inn!

Splash Inn is a cute little cottage located on all sports Cowden Lake. It has a beautiful view on the lakefront property. It is just the right fit for your family or a few friends on a getaway retreat! Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and just relaxing. After a day in the water, you can watch the sunset while enjoying a fire.

On the main floor, you will find a living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen/1 full with twin bunk) and a full bath. On the newly remodeled lower level you will find an open area containing a loveseat (with hide-a-bed), kitchen, island, gathering area, and table. Also a half bath is on the lower level. Both levels provide excellent viewing of the lake.

Photos are of the beach right from the front yard of the cottage. You have your own beach for swimming and dock for fishing or to tie your boat up to!

You may have use of 2 complimentary kayaks and a paddle boat upon request! Additional kayaks available at $25.00.

Cowden Lake is located in Montcalm County, Michigan. This lake is 128 acres in size. It is approximately 50 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Flathead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch.

We are located just 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and 25 minutes to premium golfing.

All the family had a wonderful time. The kayaks, paddle boat, water toys & games in the shed were all used and enjoyed. The sunsets are beautiful, we even had to stop card games to go out and watch. Hosts are very attentive and easy to reach for any questions. We will be returning.

Long weekend away in Coral
Communicating with the owners was easy and quick from start to finish. The house was clean and had just enough space for our family of 4. The sandy beach was absolutely amazing and kept us entertained all day! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for me and my boys. The lake was beautiful and the cottage was perfect. My boys loved fishing off the dock and catching fish within minutes, paddling the kayaks and paddle boat around the lake and swimming. Cute little cottage
This cottage and property were so nice. The perfect location to relax. We loved the open kitchen and dining area right off the back door. The picnic table was perfectly situated for a great view of the lake and easy access for meals. We loved having the opportunity to kayak in the lake that wasn’t too crowded. We had a fabulous time!

End of Summer getaway
Was a great end of summer getaway for my Wife, our 1 year old & myself. The location is absolutely beautiful. Happy we booked throughout the week as it got busier on the weekend. Very close neighbors like very close but they we’re all kind. Hoping to go back next year!

Fantastic week!
We loved our stay at Splash Inn! The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The neighbors were super friendly and the lake was awesome! We loved grilling and eating outside, floating and playing in the water, reading and chatting on the porch swing, and playing games at the big kitchen table. I wasn’t sure if we would like the kitchen downstairs by itself, but we ended up loving the fact that our early risers could head downstairs for coffee while the rest of us slept in. We had the best week and really didn’t want to leave. Pat is an amazing host and thought of everything. We can’t wait to come back!!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Kayaking was wonderful! Loved the swing, the view from upstairs and downstairs. My daughter and I kayaked to one end of the lake and back. Perfect for that. Was nice and peaceful. Great neighbors. Had smores, grilled out, sat by the water, sat on the picnic table. Everything was really nice. My son in law rowed into tge lake and fished and he loved it. My only regret was I didn't stay longer . I'm hoping to come back next year.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Stayed with my wife and two sons and had a great time. The house had everything we needed and the property was perfect. Really nice lake for kayaking and swimming with the boys. The weather was warm but the nice breeze coming off the lake made sure the AC was not turned on. We were able to fish off the dock and had a nice time catching small fish. Having a gas grill was great, it made it possible to make meals without a hassle. You will definitely want to bring or buy drinking water. We utilized the kayaks every day and the kids had fun on the sandy beach. Overall it was a great trip.

Had a great time we took 3 of our grandkids with us they had a great time fishing off the dock, kayaking and paddle boating and loved making s’mores over a fire at night. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again.
