The area is remote. I was glad someone mentioning getting some groceries before Copper Center as shopping is limited. We had dietary needs, so having a kitchen was great. The hosts were helpful and we enjoyed visiting.

The bed was comfortable, the host had the cabin warmed up and greeted us in a friendly manner and was happy to show us around their Alaska homestead.
