This place is a true quirk of a BnB. Hewn into the rock face, the room is down a shaft and inside a man made cave.
Most revelled facilities considering where it is nd who made it!
Wondeful
One the most friendly and welcoming places I have ever visited!
Mike went out of his way to make me feel welcome - we had some car trouble (emu 😂) and he went over and above to help us.
He even organised some amazing activities for my wife and I while we had no transport.
You won’t find a better place to stay in Coober Pedy - don’t miss out!
Tall man Raymond was very accommodating , informative and kind.
We stayed in a seemingly brand new and large room that had a queen size bed and a double bed. Mattresses were very nice and new. Spotless room. Peaceful place. Next time we will try a dugout. It’s also clean and new . We spoke with the folks who were staying there and they loved it. Hope to come back and visit soon. It is very close to town and is quiet location with fantastic views of the sunrise.
This motel is interesting, whilst I stayed in an above ground room, the owners are building underground rooms. My accommodation was excellent, brand new, comfortable and clean.
The manager was attentive and efficient.
What I liked most was the surroundings: out of the way, vast horizon and beautiful sunset.

Always easy. Love that it’s a bit out of town 3 mins. Quiet here.
Very new, simple, above ground accommodation just outside town. Nice sunset views and interesting landscape surrounding the property. Had a good stay and would revisit!
I really enjoyed my stay at Venus Hill. The location overlooked a beautiful plane, and the cabin had everything I needed for a relaxing night and efficient morning. I am heading back to Adelaide in a few months and will likely stay again.
We picked this venue as it offered the cheapest underground accommodation as well as a barbecue. However, while the site offers underground accommodation, their cheapest triple room is in a (very clean, very well maintained) demountable.
Additionally, the barbecue is only available to certain rooms.
