"The hotel has an excellent location. We took the ferry from Malta and decided to stay for 2 nights. Walkable to town which has numerous shops and restaurants. The owners were great hosts even helping us with a lift to get to our rental car in Syracusa. The only unusual thing about our room was the toilet seat and cover could not be set in an up position. You had to hold it up or use your back to hold it up. Really pretty funny. Not a big deal. Breakfast was lovely and everyone around was fun. "

"This hotel is perched above the town and has a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees, and views of the duomo, town and valley. It's a lovely, quiet place and it even has parking about 5 minutes up the hill, which is impossible to find in Ragusa Ibla. The staff are very gracious, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was so quiet, and the bed was very comfortable with a mattress topper. We highly recommend it. "

"The property is in a great location, a minute walk from the main Piazza. Traditional building restored to a great standard combining modern amenities with traditional features. "Wonderful place to stay. The Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. The Host Elizabeth was very helpfull and nothing was an issue. She got up at 6am to drive us to the train station as no taxis were available and help carry our bags up the stairs. Room had a view and balcony. Love it."

"A little piece of heaven on earth. Tranquil and ideallic. Did not want to leave! To fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves lapping on the rocks was wonderful. Bruna, Georgio and his wife, and Frederico treated us like family with a delicious breakfast ready for us every morning. Their knowledge of the local area helped us plan each day. We will be back. "Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...

Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. Accoms for 11 in a 3 bed and 4 doubles. Nice outside sun area overlooking the Med. if you want an unsophisticated chill out place for a large group away from it all then this would suit. "Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. The nearest town Sciciliis a fantastic place to eat in the evening as it is only a 12 minute drive and has so many good restaurants. The pool is really a plunge pool but good enough for cooling...
