"Nice property with a lovely pool very secure but you need a car"

"The location of the house is amazing! You can easily walk to the beach within 5 minutes. The view from the house is great from the large terrace and several sun loungers to relax and enjoy the sun. The center of town is 15 to 20 minutes away with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We arrived very late after a ferry mixup and they were so kind to us showing us around the apartment and recommending to come back the next day to explain things further....

"The photos don't do justice to the actual home/resort. The owner and his nephew live onsite and are available to help with whatever comes up- nothing did. They even made recommendations for things to see and routes to take. The home is LARGE and spacious and the pool literally feels like you are in Hawaii or someplace tropical. Highly recommend staying here and more people would be even more fun."

"We had a great time at Villa Carla, our host Ciro greeted us at different location on the main road so we would find the property, which is tucked just up the hill outside of Balestrate. A perfect location for us, just a 10 minute walk to town through a very quiet neighbourhood so we were able to relax in private and in peace. "Owner Eugenio and wife Angela were the perfect hosts.. nothing was too much trouble.. arranged a friend to drive us shopping as we didn’t want to hire a car…recommended where to eat and drink..etc. Villa was beautiful so was the garden and pool. Highly recommend if you want to relax.. we even enjoyed the steep walk back to the villa after a few Aperole spritzers!!!"

"Be aware This is a 3 BR apt in a large house, not a 4BR house. it is still listed wrong even though I pointed this out to both the manager Paola and VRBO. This mystake costed us extra $ to accomodate our group, so plan accordingly. To be fair, other webdites lists this right. "Wäre besser geputzt und das Schlafzimmer schöner wäre die Unterkunft top. Leider Ist der Schlafkomfort durch die Schlechte und durchgelegene Matratze und die unkomfortabelne Bettwäsche nur 3/10. "This is a lovely traditional country house surrounded by its own grounds but with other properties nearby. It is beautifully quiet (apart from cicadas) and very relaxing.
