"The hotel has been or is being remodeled. The dead bolt did not line up with the door . The bathroom seemed to be a handicapped bathroom but the toilet was very low. The bed was not the most comfortable. The room was clean . It needed the adjoining room and bathroom doors and trim painted. "

"The stay was absolutely wonderful from the front desk check-in to the free breakfast. The young man in charge that evening was a delight, so helpful & friendly. He was respectful, polite & courteous. (I believe his name was Dallas. Truly an asset to the hotel! The bed was comfortable. The room had ample lighting. The flavored water in the lobby along with a pick of tea bags for a cup pot of hot tea were welcome additions! My husband & I appreciated the National Oreo celebration also. :)"

"We had an amazing time and this hotel has the old time charm and will go back if we are in the area again - the only complaint that I have is where our room was facing the main road and the cars were racing up and down all night but that wasn’t the hotels fault I would just ask for a room on the opposite side next time. The lady who was the bartender while there was amazing and just so nice as well as the front desk ladies as well but the bartender left an impression and was just so wonderful Thank you for a great experience "

"Requested a handicapped room and it was very nice. Shower was excellent and everything was as it should be for that type of room. Only little complaint was the mattress has seen better days. Little lumpy on the side. Moved to the middle and all was fine."
