As Conover's former town hall, you’ll find a space that’s utterly unique yet fully updated. The renovated space features hardwood floors, exposed beams, soaring ceilings, and a fully open floor plan, perfect for gathering. Step into the sleek, full kitchen to whip up mealtime masterpieces, then sit down to dine together at one of several tables or the kitchen island. Comfortable couches beckon at the end of a day on the trails, or head downstairs for a game of air hockey or shuffleboard.

Character and charm combine at this darling downtown Conover home, located right on the snowmobile and ATV trails. Bring your own or rent one nearby to enjoy four seasons of Northwoods fun, or spend your days hiking, mountain biking, or fishing at nearby North Twin Lake. All the shops, restaurants, and amenities of Eagle River are about 10 miles away.

A TV and free WiFi round out the indoor entertainment options, but if the weather cooperates, spend the evening out on the patio, grilling up the day’s catch. Central AC and two sets of washer/dryers round out the vacation amenities. At the end of the day, four cozy bedrooms offer a restful night’s sleep - another idyllic Northwoods day starts tomorrow.

Impeccable Stay
Not only was The Townhall in perfect location, the home itself is incredibly clean, aesthetically fun and has everything we needed for our getaway. While we have 3 children, this would be perfect for a multi couple trip! There is so munch space for everyone to rest comfortably. We will definitely be staying again!

The kids loved the big open living space, air hockey and loft! Nice large open areas for family gatherings. Plenty of rooms and beds for sleeping arrangements.

Unique property, great for families!
This house is great for families or big groups! Has a great loft that the kids loved! Great open living room and kitchen with plenty of seating for everyone! Within walking distance to two great restaurants and driving distance to many awesome resorts. We found some great ATV/UTV trails with cool fishing spots nearby. Plenty of room for parking trucks and trailers and you can head out on the trails right from the front door! We will definitely be back!

Be very forewarned. Prior reviews HAD to be from friends and family
I get it; this is not a listing on the upper west side of NYC. This is the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Here are just SOME of the reasons: 1) The house is right on a busy highway with trucks, pickup trucks and cars zooming by day and night. This is not mentioned in the listing. 2) The house used to be the townhall of tiny Conover Wisconsin and instead of the owners converting the former townhall into something charming and usable, they very clearly put in very minimal effort. The furnishings are a patchwork of whatever they had laying around and the buildout-such as it was-was minimal. 3) The main area of the house is the large "living room" but other than some small light fixtures on a far wall, there is LITERALLY, no light fixtures. In fact, the only lights in the entire large room are (not making this up) a string of small outdoor decorative lighting bulbs stung over a high beam in the room. Reading at night was out of the question. 4) The master bedroom off of the "living room" was built with a toilet but without a door so anyone doing their "business" is doing it in full view of anyone who happens to walk by. Likewise, in this room there is exactly ONE light a partially broken lamp on one side of the bed. The room was so dark that the poor soul (me in this case) on the other side of the bed could hardly read. 5) The basement is dank, musty and VERY unpleasant. 6) There is 1 tv in the entire house in the loft and is about the size of a comp monitor. 7) no microwave oven
