Built in the early C18th these cottages were homes to the local mine workers, whilst management lived on roads below. Their loss, as the views from up here, are just the best!

The cosy living room benefits from comfortable seating, an inviting log fire plus TV with DVD player should you ever get bored of the views.
A patio door leads from the sitting room out onto a small sun deck, offering stunning views across Coniston Water: a perfect spot for doing nothing but relaxing and soaking up the views.
First floor
Upstairs there's a double room with views across to Coniston Water and another room to the rear of the cottage. If there are four of you, you'll have to flip a coin, it's only fair.

House bathroom with small bath, shower & WC.
Outside
The cottage has a delightful sun deck with fantastic lake views, and a small paved terrace garden below with garden furniture.
There is also a small utility room with washer/dryer in the outbuilding next to the property.
Travelling with a dog?
We can offer free use of a 1 acre enclosed field in Coniston village, perfect for off the lead running, walking, training and playing. Use by arrangement with The Coppermines Lakes Cottages only.

Parking
Parking available immediately beside the cottage for 1 small to medium car only in a designated space at gable end of cottage.
Please note that due to the location of the cottages on 'the banks' the area surrounding the parking space is tight and care is required when parking/ manoeuvring.

Property Notes
The lane to the cottage is steep, twisty & narrow! Please drive carefully. If arriving in dark please take care as the banks leading up to the cottage have minimal street lighting.
