"We were visiting Somerset for the annual fire and ice festival. The property is only a 15 minute walk from the uptown business district, however not many people clear snow from the sidewalks, including the hotel, so walking was a bit complicated. However, it's January in the laurel Highlands so it's expected to walk in snow. Staff was extremely welcoming,kind, and helpful. The parking lot and entrance could have a little better snow and ice removal. Excellent dining within walking distance....

"Awesome experience! We originally chose the cabin-like motel due to its location while visiting family. However, we quickly fell in love with the cabin which included a kitchen/dining room and living room. All rooms, including the two bedrooms, had ample space and was very cozy. We arrived just after Christmas and the living room contained a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The cleaning crew was very friendly and helpful and the resident cat “Luna” entertained our grand-daughter for hours....

It’s obviously an older property and it’s been maintained well. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfy. The owner lives on site so any needs or issues can be handled in short order. "Perfect little get away spot with my sister! The pictures don’t do the place justice how cute and cozy it is inside!
