"It's a really nice, clean and modern hostel. The beds are comfortable and the curtain gives you a feeling of your own private little nook with your own shelf, light, mirror, plug, and a lockable safety box, big enough to fit a laptop in. There's a bar on location with various events (karaoke, DJ night, etc) throughout the week for your entertainment. The 5 sec.-at-a-time showers, though initially annoying, are an important environmental initiative that I appreciate. I would stay here again and...

"All concerns we had after reading some reviews vanished as soon as we arrived. We were warmly greeted by employees as soon as we entered as well as at the front desk. We spoke both French and English. I asked if we could be on the same floor as my in-laws arriving the following day, and after confirming we were all able to climb a flight of stairs since the elevators stop at floor 30, they accommodated. "Very unique and authentic French hotel. Lovely staff who are always smiling and friendly. Loved the 24/7 desk as you felt really safe. Nice area with lots of cafes near by. So easy to access the metro around Paris. My only suggestion is a fridge in the room for our food and water, also a kettle would have been nice. However, you can get fresh hot water from coffee machine downstairs. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. "
