The accommodation in the basement of their home was very clean , the bed was very comfortable and had all that we needed. Although there is no kitchen, the microwave and fridge were available to us in the adjacent garage. Very old house, including antique door fastenings, but cosy and there are plenty of chairs and sofas to lounge in for that late night beer or coffee. "This is a very well run Gite with lots to do in the grounds and buildings. As it is a conversion of an old farmhouse it is a bit dark and some of the appliances are a bit dated - but it all works. There are loads of walks around the park and the old trails. As you are in the country there are the usual flies and bugs to contend with but those who love nature will feel right at home. We took our dog and it did not get on too well with the owners young Boxer dog (he was just a bit nosy vs angry)...

Communication with the local manager was easy and so checking in and accessing the property was effortless. Please be aware that you are renting someone’s home- and it feels like that rather than a holiday home. And such is comfortable and homely but also lived in. L'extérieur était aussi très bien équipé mais malheureusement le temps ne permettait pas d'en profiter. Le gîte en plus peut accueillir des personnes en situation de handicap."
