The good:
- Host was very responsive, I had a couple questions, got quick answers.
-location, close to downtown and everything you may need
-cleanliness, the space was clean and spacious
The Neutral (things that didn’t impact us but could be useful for other people deciding if this is the place for them)
-beds, the king bed was the only comfy one, the queen and twin beds were not as comfy but they did the job.
-cookware as with most rentals is sparse, knives were all serrated which made cooking tough but this is normal and we made do
- the day before our trip I learned there is a noise sensitive upstairs owner this was not an issue for us but if I had kids or a larger group I would have wanted to know that upfront/ within the cancellation period as the building is older and so noise is noticeable.
-only 4 big plates, 4 salad plates,4 bowls and 4 mugs, but sleeps 6 people, plenty of cups though.
Things I would improve.
-The living room the furniture was fine but there wasn’t enough of it. For us as a group of 3 it was a non issue but the rental sleeps 6 and there was only a small couch/loveseat that comfortably fits two but could technically fit three people and one chair. There was a desk with a chair as well but not enough seating for everyone if fully booked. Same for the dining table in the kitchen it seats 4 and we found the pub stools very uncomfortable with the sharp edges and lack of back support. We made it work but again a larger group would struggle.
