"We love Lerma and was excited about staying in the Parador. However we were not aware of the gardens being closed and work being carried out prior to arrival. Check in staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good."

"We were visiting our son who had just moved near the hotel in Spain. It was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been in. The history and architecture were striking. The restaurant was delicious and kind to hungry Americans. It’s easily walkable to all Burgos de Osma has to offer including the Main Street and castle. The springs under the hotel were a treat! "Ideally located of the main auto route and a stopover for Bilbao ferry port. Very clean premises and friendly staff. The kitchen / bar provided us with a nice evening meal. We would use this venue again "

"A great find. Very characterful. Amazing rooms, excellent dinner, friendly bar, nice shop. Didn’t have time to make use of the spa. In small hamlet of a village with lots of rural pursuits around. We were only there overnight en route back to Bilbao. Would love to go back for a longer stay. "

"A sweet and quirky little hotel in a quiet, off the beaten path town. The rooms are unexpectedly nice - newly remodeled, comfortable linens and bedding, nice towels, very clean bathrooms. Parking is on the street, free and safe. Easy places to walk the dog nearby. "

"Stayed for one night while visiting Ribera del Duero area, hotel is conveniently located steps from the main square and close to a few restaurants/ shopping area. The staff were very friendly and provided recommendations for dinner options close by. There was no AC in the room but as we stayed during February - we had no issues."

"We stayed 2 nights in Covarrubias. We originally planned to use the town as a base to explore the surrounds, but were enchanted by the charm of the town and didn’t leave during our stay. Cafes open around 10am and it’s easy to while away a day slowly exploring the streets, stopping for a coffee, wine or beer at regular intervals and having a lay siesta."
