"Despite the booking confirmation saying check-in was open until 1900, we arrived at 1615 only to find it shut until 1800 - duh - nearly every other hotel I've stayed in welcomes guests from 1500 at the earliest...to compound the problem, I received a text from the hotel the evening after we had left telling us what the check-in times were! "A good quality hotel with comfortable rooms in the centre of town. ♿ Good parking and access to the building for mobility restricted visitors but the lift was a bit too small for the wheelchair."

"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "

"We have stayed here before. Could not fault the friendliness of the host and gave us an excellent choice of restaurants for our evening meal. The hotel is comfortable enough but is looking a little tired especially in the room we were in but apart from that we had a good overnight stay "

"We really wished we could stay longer. The property was so comfortable and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We went to the historic sites around the Somme and it was about an hour away. The surrounding area of Bettencourt Rivière was so lovely"

"We had a really nice welcome. Without even asking, our bikes were nicely secured. Room was shown, even explanation how everything works. The building is having a nice architectural features. We have been too tired to try the bar, but next time we will do it"
