Close to Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, it is within walking distance for most, though there is not a defined sidewalk/path, so care must be taken if this is your mode. "The home is lovely and as described online. Also the location is great for touring Bayeux and the Normandy D-Day beaches. The check in was easy but super brief which is fine until there was an issue. We never could figure out the AC and the upstairs bedrooms were roasting hot all night. The pool cover had a retraction issue and we contacted the owner immediately; she was responsive but it felt was placing blame on us however we did what we were told with our brief explanation at check in. "It was hard to get answers with the third party booking routing all the questions. Once there the owner was very helpful. Three of the rooms were on the third floor with narrow stairs. The Wi-Fi was only available in one room. The large dinning area serve our group's needs. The easy walk to the beach was wonderful and the view at sunset was great. "

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
