"This property is located in an over 55 community. It was very friendly, quiet and peaceful. It is near so many different restaurants and an easy drive to any location. Anything you could possibly need is supplied. If you like to golf or lounge by the pool, those are also available. Don’t pass this property up if you are looking to stay in the RGV."

"We could tell by the listing that this place met all of our requirements, plus it seemed to have great outdoor space to enjoy the fishing and enjoying the great weather with each other.Ray's check in process could not be more simple and he was a friendly, and helpful host. He lives next door but does not intrude. We opted to sleep in the single beds right off the living area. They were very comfortable to us.We will definitely try to stay with Ray in the future if we come back to this area."

"Easy check in. Great communication. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. It’s in a condo/duplex. Unsure upon arrival because the street was busy, but open parking was right in front of the door. That was great! I arrived on a Saturday and could hear the neighbors through the walls— muffled talking and walking, every time they went up the stairs.. wasn’t thrilled, but understood as it is a condo. "We loved the house; but "House by the Lake"?? The lake is totally overgrown...NO water is visible at all. Could be a real problem for someone who REALLY wants to be on the water. Recommend sweeping a few days after spraying. Dead bugs were everywhere! Also, advise to NOT leave outside lights on at night--bugs will hinder if not totally prevent re-entry. Renters should know trash pickup day--we missed it. Other than that (and the unwelcoming sight entering the neighborhood--homeless...
