"The Old Red Lion Inn was great for my two night visit to the area. I arrived in Cambridge by train and chose to stay at the Old Red Lion as it was on a good bus route to Haverhill. The staff were all friendly and welcoming which makes a difference and important to me anywhere I stay. My room was fine and the continental breakfast bag delivered to my room was just what I needed. The evening meals I had in the pub both evenings were delicious. The best bit of my stay. I would stay at the Old Red...

"Lovely hotel but the emergency exit light in our room (4) was so bright it was difficult to sleep. Couldn’t fault it otherwise but obviously this is an issue restwise Really pleasant staff and nice location just out of town "

"This hotel satisfactorily met our needs. The WC seat was very loose. I cannot imagine that this defect had only just happened and should have been dealt with previously but did not cause us much inconvenience. We think the restaurant menu lacked choices for patrons with eating problems"

"We stayed on Sunday evening and arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our room had every we needed. It was quiet and all we could hear was bird song. We had that evening in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beef roast was amazing. We stayed for breakfast on Monday morning and the selection and quality was excellent. We had a lovely stay and would stsy again, thank you. "
