This cozy cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or a longer stay with your family. The entire house has been thoughtfully updated to maximize the space and create a restful and peaceful environment for you. We love all of the natural light and wood in our home and hope you do too. The Frame tv allows for your own creative expression to come out with a wide variety of artwork to choose from when you aren't watching your favorite show.
Our queen beds are new and incredibly comfortable. We especially love the custom headboard made by my brother-in-law for the smaller bedroom, you can adjust the shelves to keep your favorite book or phone close by.
Our living room is full of natural light and plants and is the perfect place to curl up with a book or snuggle up for a movie. We hope you find our space as restful as we do and enjoy your time here.
Clintonville is a quirky neighborhood just north of OSU's campus. We have many wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you want recommendations, don't hesitate to ask! There is also a fun locally owned theater called Studio 35 that usually has some random throwback movie showing, as well as the most recent movies. Make sure to check it out! Just a short walk up the street in both directions are several antique malls and curated co-ops with multiple vendors. The Little Light Collective is a favorite and just up the road from Studio 35.
We are just a half block from High Street, so you can catch a bus to anywhere from the stop just 3 minutes from us, including to downtown to catch a show or to campus for a game. Columbus is a very bike friendly city, and most of the main roads have a dedicated bike lane. We are a short walk from Walhalla ravine, which is a beautiful wooded one way road used frequently by cyclists and pedestrians. If you want to catch the Olentangy Trail (a multi-purpose trail that goes from north to south), it is also a short walk or ride from our house across High Street to the river. If driving is more your style, it is easy to get around the city as we are located between the two main highways (315 and 71). You can get pretty much anywhere in the city in no more than 20 minutes. There is lots of easy street parking in Clintonville. If you venture farther south into campus and the Short North area, you may have more difficulty finding parking. Maybe try the bus out and let someone else get you around!
If you're here during the summer months, make sure you don't miss out on Clintonville's Farmer's Market. You will find lots of locally grown produce and other products, as well as musicians and coffee!
If you like to feel like you are in the city but have space to forget, our cottage is perfect. We're in the middle of a fun and eclectic area, with easy access to green space and a quiet walk in the woods and then a fun dinner out with drinks later.
