Please note we allow up to 9 guests, but that's for a baby/infant or if the 9th wants to use an air mattress we have on the property or if the 9th wants to sleep on the couch.
Access: There are two steps up to the welcoming front porch where you can chat and swing! Use a smart lock with a unique to you code for access anytime!
Inside the grand 2 story foyer, and on the Main Floor you will find:

-a half bath on the main floor
-Dining Room with Seating for 6-8
-Living Room with 64" TV with Roku, built ins, a desk area, and comfortable seating to rest, relax, and gather with family or friends
-an eat-in Kitchen, w/ island complete with a gas cook top, all cooking essentials, 4 bar stools and stainless steels appliances
-Coffee bar with a Keurig, coffee pods and assorted teas, sugar and stevia packets, as well as a drip coffee maker offering ground coffee and filters
Upstairs, you will find:
-a King Master bedroom with upper balcony, including patio seating to enjoy the swaying SC Palm tree
-Private King ensuite bathroom with stand up shower, double sinks, vanity area, and two bedroom closets
-Master bedroom also has a TV with Roku and a separate chair
-a double twin bedroom with grey stripe bedding (perfect for kids)
-toys and children's books in the closet for your use
-a baby gate
-other children's items like pacnplay or high chair (upon request)
-A Queen bed suite with vaulted cathedral ceiling is painted a soft blue

Upstairs also offers a shared hall bathroom with deep tub/shower combo, a brand new Maytag washer and dryer, plenty of fresh towels, an iron, and laundry pods for your use.
We provide all linens, towels, make-up remover wipes, starter laundry pods, coffee, tea, cleaning supplies, and some cooking essentials like spices.

We are a STRICT NO SMOKING (vaping, marijuana use, nor illegal drug use) property! If you fail to follow our house rules, your stay will be terminated with no refund or you may be subject to fines for remediation.
There are TWO exterior security cameras actively recording and monitoring the front door and the rear deck doors. If any guest tampers, covers, or blocks the security cameras in any way, their stay will be canceled without refund immediately. This is for the safety of the property we monitor these exterior doors.
You will have the entire home to yourself.

We are a husband and wife team that grew up in Columbia, met at USC, married with 3 kids, and now work hard to provide an exceptional experience in southern hospitality, so that you can see why we love our city! We don't live too far away from this property, so we can be there in a few minutes if something comes up! We actively monitor our properties via exterior survelliance cameras to ensure our guests and properties are safe.
Located in the heart of Elmwood Park, this home is in the absolute most ideal spot in Downtown Columbia! Absolutely beautiful historic homes surround this property along tree lined streets. There is a wonderful park within walking distance with splash pad in the summer and playground and covered picnic areas just .2 miles or 2 blocks down the street! There are some eclectic restaurants closeby!
There is free on street parking directly in front of the home and along the side. We have 1 parking spot under the deck for guest use as well.
The Carriage House directly behind the home is also owned by the owner and used as a long term rental. Help us be great neighbors by not disturbing our neighbors and honoring quiet hours.
In addition to federal/state/local laws, and any laws enforced by your booking app, please be mindful and respectful of the following house rules:
- NO Smoking in or on the property! This is a strictly no-smoking property. If you smoke we will charge you an additional cleaning fee of at least $500.
- No parties / large gatherings / loud noise
- No unapproved guests. Only the guests quoted on the stay are permitted onto the property. If you have any unapproved guests, we will charge a fee of $100/unapproved guest, and require the extra guests to vacate the premises immediately.
- If you bring an unapproved pet/animal onto the property we will charge a fee of $500 per pet/animal for additional cleaning. We will also require the pet/animal to be immediately removed.
- Unless otherwise agreed upon, you can not check-in earlier than the noted check-in time and day, or check-out later than the noted check-out time and day. If you attempt to check-in earlier or stay past your check-out time without our permission, there will be an additional fee of $100/hr. We may also call the police for trespassing.
- If you break/damage something, or discover something broken/damaged, please let us know
- Do not move furniture / appliances / etc.
- Do not unplug important electronics (i.e. appliances, internet, etc)
- Do not unplug, block, or tamper with exterior surveillance cameras
- Nothing but toilet paper in the toilets
If you break any of these rules we may charge additional fees and we reserve the right to terminate your stay without any refunds.
