We booked this property several months prior on a different platform for the month of June. One week prior we were notified that our reservation was canceled. Upon frantically searching for a new place we saw the Carter St. Property listed on VRBO and our dates were still available. I rebooked the house and it was $1000 more than what I had booked previously. The only reason being was the location that was close to my daughter who had just had a baby. The listing said there was a dishwasher and when we arrived there was not a dishwasher. The kitchen drawers were filthy, our feet were dirty after walking around the floors and there were several items that needed repaired . They were responsive and did clean and do repairs. I am still in disbelief that someone would cancel a reservation at the last minute only to increase the price and then relist. They are still listed on the platform I originally used. Also noted the bathroom is outdated and needs a good cleaning and update. Very disappointed!

Generally a good property. No pretension or frill, but the beds were comfortable and clean, the water hot on demand, towels clean and fluffy. Didn't use the kitchen much, though it appeared functional for breakfasts and lunches. A couple of nits/complaints. Porch light did not work making steps precarious. Broken glass in a large area near the street side tree made walk from drive to home a bit daunting. Also, when the other unit was occupied, the cooking odors permeated the wall and polluted our side. House was very convenient for our purpose. Thanks.
