Jailhouse Cabin Near Glacier National Park Montana

Studio Cabin Near Glacier National Park. Our Montana Cabin, the Sheriff Jail, has a little more comfort than a standard Jail, there is a fully stocked dine in kitchen (no oven), a living room/sitting area w/TV, a couch that folds down for extra sleeping space, and of course a bedroom behind bars with a King bed. There is a Window AC unit in the Kitchen that cools the whole studio cabin if needed. The bathroom has a walk in tile shower and a sink vanity with a lighted mirror. There is a front deck with seating and 2 acres of common outdoor space. We even have Rental Cars at discounted rates for our Guests. When you book both a cabin and car with us we will provide a complimentary shuttle service that can pick you up at the Glacier Airport or West Glacier Train Station and bring you to your Cabin and Car. At the end of your trip you will return the car to us and we will provide a shuttle service to shuttle you back for your departure. Fort Williamson is located just 15 minutes from the West Glacier entrance, 15 minutes from Glacier International Airport, and is only minutes from downtown Columbia Falls, MT.

AMAZING!!!!
Our stay was so wonderful. Everything we clean comfortable and peaceful! It was not hard to find and was in a prime location to go to Glacier National Park, White Fish, etc. The owners were friendly with lots of suggestions of places to see and good restaurants. A Great place to stay!!!

Sheriff Jail

Weekend Getaway
This place lived up to the listed and the pictures. It was a great place to stay and cozy home away from home with a theme. Love the theme of the place and definitely want to check out the other listings Fort Williamson has. The host was great in the communication and easy to work with. The check in and check out process was great. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place close to Glacier National Park.

The BEST airB&B hands down!
We booked the Sheriffs Jail upon a recommendation of friends who stayed at the Saloon, and are so glad we listened to their advice. This is absolutely the best air B&B because of the fun decor, cleanliness of the accommodation, and the helpfulness of our hosts Robert & Jennifer, who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Also the drive to Glacier National Park is just up the road.

This Old Western Town lodging was a gold mine of a find !
Gracious Hosts: If ever going to jail may it be Fort Williamson’s as it was evident that a lot of thought and time went into this relaxing, clean, comfortable, well stocked with amenities location. From the time of booking thru our actual stay Robert and Jennifer were upfront, courteous and kind which made our trip thoroughly enjoyable. The old western town flare of their lodging options is outstanding as well as their decor!

The sheriff's jail
Came down from northern Canada and was frozen to the Bone last week. Check in process was incredibly smooth thanks to the emails received from Jennifer. I was pleasantly greeted by her and her lovely dogs and was incredibly impressed with the layout of the area as well as the individual cottage/jail. Would highly recommend the jail as well as the other cabins which have various amenities. I will definitely be booking with them again as I travel through Montana on my next motorcycle trip.

Clean and Well Stocked Cabin
Full kitchen was well stocked and clean. Bathroom was large and bed was comfortable. Owners sent a great list of restaurants and things to do. The jail motif was cool. Close to Glacier entrance and whitefish.

Pleasant Stay
We just stayed for an overnight but it was nice to walk around the property before dark and chat with Jen while petting the dogs. The room was comfortable and quirky in its own little way. Close to a couple of towns as far as dinner and breakfast opportunities. Easy drive up to Glacier National Park. Overall it was a very nice visit.

Creative stay
If staying in West Glacier, choose Fort Williamson location. A western town with beautiful and updated accommodations. Very Clean and the place has every necessity! Comfortable kind bed, clean bathroom and the Jail House location had everything we needed for our Glacier visit. Good restaurants in Columbia Falls 5 minutes away. And 15 minutes to Apghar Visitor Center and 30 minutes to Lake MCDonald. The property hosts were so helpful and nice also! Book your stay today!

Glacier National Park
We truly enjoyed our stay at Fort Williamson Sheriff Jail. Location to Glacier National Park was great. Short drive to the west entrance. It was a longer drive to the east entrance through a very scenic mountain pass. The Sheriff Jail has a very homey feel. We cooked breakfasts and dinners each day and had everything we needed for cooking indoors and outdoors. We used the fire pit and outdoor grill several times and enjoyed meeting the hosts and other guests around the fire. The hosts provided the fire wood and started the fire for us. Jennifer and Robert were very accommodating to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for. We would stay here again if we return tot he area.

Best place we have ever stayed!
Wow the old west town is awesome. Our “Jail” cabin was so unique. The attention to detail in each cabin is amazing. You can tell this is the hosts labor of love. Both hosts were very nice, readily available and happy to answer questions. The cabin was close to West Glacier and a reasonable drive to East Glacier and Flathead lake. This was the nicest place we have stayed.
