This 2,000 square foot cabin is an eclectic blend of style and comfort, offering 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and spectacular mountain views. Situated on a scenic, wooded property at an altitude of just under 9000’, it’s the perfect, convenient location for a romantic vacation for 2 but is also more than comfortable for up to 8 guests! “Cozy” doesn’t begin to describe the feeling you’ll get when you walk through the door! This is the ultimate mountain house, arranged with thoughtful details; it features a variety of spaces so everyone can head in a different direction to unwind but then come together again to connect in the gathering areas…two staircases, a secret nook…where will you head first? There are so many options to explore, so unpack your bags and settle in…you’ll be so cozy you’ll forget to go home!
On the Main Level:
The first thing you’ll notice is the carefree yet purposeful blend of antiques, original artwork, and modern conveniences, while the beautiful wood ceilings envelop you in warmth and invite you to come in and unwind.
Stretch out on the LIVING ROOM’s leather furniture and get a crackling fire going in the wood-burning stove. This area is perfect for a relaxing chat, or you can stream the next episode of your favorite show on the smart TV.
The vaulted ceiling in the SUNROOM makes for a bright and airy spot to watch the wildlife out the wall-to-wall windows. The roomy sectional and fun floor poufs are ready for the family to gather ‘round for a game of cards, or you might be tempted to step out the French doors to sit on the patio and enjoy the mountaintop views. Wander over to the gas fire pit and lure the family out to sit fireside under the stars.
If you’re ready for a bite to eat, head to the cozy KITCHEN where you’ll find what you need to make everything from a cup of coffee to a gourmet meal…or just unpack the take-out boxes. There’s plenty of space around the DINING ROOM table to savor whatever you put on your plates!
The BEDROOM on the main level offers a comfortable king bed, smart TV, large walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom. With close proximity to the kitchen, it’s easy to sneak a midnight snack without anyone else knowing!
Behind the sliding barn door in the hallway, you’ll find a large and convenient LAUNDRY ROOM with full-size washer and dryer, in case you decide to wear your favorite sweater every single day! And you don’t have to be a kid to hide yourself away in the SECRET NOOK to play Solitaire on your phone all day long. You’re on vacation –you can spend the day however you want!
In the Loft:
Climb the front staircase with its gallery wall of original paintings to the second bedroom LOFT retreat; the adorable ensuite bathroom features a custom copper sink. You’ll want to snuggle into the comfy queen log bed to nap or curl up with a book in the oversized armchair, while the double futon is available for extra guests. Keep the movie marathon going all night from the smart TV!
In the Second Floor Suite:
There’s another BEDROOM SUITE accessed from the back staircase where you’ll find a large room with a queen bed, an oversized armchair that folds out to a single bed, and a table where the family can work puzzles or play games. There are lots of toys up here for the kids as well! The split bathroom features a full-size bathtub and shower and a separate toilet room.
Rustic elegance is the phrase that sums up The Cabin in the Aspens. From the moment you walk in the door you’ll get that sense of belonging, and that’s a key ingredient for the perfect vacation!
