Romantic Lakefront Cabin Retreat – Ideal for Couples or Small Group Getaways
Whether you’re a couple seeking a romantic escape or a small group looking for a relaxing retreat, our lakefront cabin offers the perfect blend of cozy charm and stunning mountain views. Unwind with serene lake vistas from the deck and take in breathtaking sunsets that light up the sky each evening—creating unforgettable moments together. Located just 45 minutes from Colorado Springs, the cabin is also near exciting attractions like the South Platte River’s renowned "Dream Stream" for fishing, the Wolf Sanctuary, Mueller State Park, and much more.
Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom (Downstairs): This private retreat features a plush, new mattress with high-quality bedding, ample pillows, and an attached full bath—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.
Loft Bedroom: Overlooking the main space, the loft bedroom offers a cozy, elevated atmosphere with a queen bed, USB-equipped lamps, a half bath, and a private balcony for peaceful mornings or stargazing with loved ones.
Additional Sleeping Space: A comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the main living area provides additional accommodations.
Bathrooms: The bathrooms are sparkling clean and well-stocked for guests. The downstairs bathroom has a full tub with shower, while the loft area includes a half bath. We provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, makeup towels, spa-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hair dryer.
Kitchen: Our kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with modern stainless steel appliances, including a dual coffee maker for grounds or K-cups and a range with a built-in air fryer. Essential cooking supplies like spices, cooking oil, and spray are provided to make you feel right at home. Occasionally, you may find snacks or condiments left by previous guests, but please inspect them before consuming, as freshness is not guaranteed.
Laundry Room: The cabin has a convenient laundry area with an updated washer and dryer, along with complimentary laundry sheets. An iron and ironing board are also provided for guest use.
Outdoor Access: While you’ll enjoy incredible lakefront views and can stroll designated areas around the lake, please note that access to community lakes and common areas is restricted to members only.
House Manual: A detailed house manual is provided, covering everything from Wi-Fi access to device instructions and local area recommendations, ensuring you have all the information you need at your fingertips.
Guest Access: Guests have exclusive access to the entire home. Please note that the detached garage is not available for guest use.
Parking & Accessibility: The driveway is plowed after snowfalls of 2 inches or more, and the main parking area is conveniently flat and located near the garage. We recommend parking on the upper driveway, as the lower driveway can be challenging, even when cleared. During winter, we suggest traveling in a suitable vehicle for snowy conditions.
Hot Tub: A professional spa technician provides weekly maintenance on the hot tub for your health and safety. We’ll notify you if the technician needs to access the hot tub area during your stay.
Quiet Hours & Noise Monitoring: The mountain community values peace and quiet. We ask guests to keep noise levels low at all times and ensure that noise does not exceed property boundaries. A noise monitoring system (Minut) is in place, but it only tracks decibel levels and does not record audio.
Outdoor Trash: To avoid attracting wildlife, please dispose of all trash in the bear-proof trash can located at the street.
Additional Notes:
Security Camera: A surveillance camera is positioned at the front door for security. There are no interior cameras, and the noise monitoring system does not record voices or sounds.
ATV/UTV Policy: Unlicensed vehicles are prohibited on county roads, so please transport ATVs to nearby trails rather than driving them from the property.
Early Check-in/Late Checkout: If available, early check-ins and late checkouts can be arranged at $50 per hour and must be approved and paid in advance.

Policies:
--Fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control.Live burns and fires outside are strictly not permitted. Please reference Teller County sheriff's office website for current fire ban laws.
--At this elevation you don't need AC! It stays much cooler at 9,000 ft and open windows keeps it comfortable on a summer day.
--Guests do not have lake access. HOA will only allow homeowners use of lakes and common areas.
--No loud music or noise- Property is equipped with noise level control device so we can continue to be good neighbors.
ATVs and UTVs must be on a trailer at all times and are illegal to use on county roads.
No pets please as homeowner is highly allergic.
Parking:
There is free parking for 4 vehicles. There are two separate parking areas and a garage that is available for guest use. Low clearance vehicles, please drive carefully. 4WD/AWD is recommended for winter months. Roads are well maintained and we do have snow removal. Host offers several 4 wheel drive vehicles for rent at an additional fee including a Luxury Cadillac Escalate ESV that seats 7 with Thule equipment storage and a Jeep Grand Cherokee with Thule equipment storage.
