Come stay in this newly renovated cozy cottage! Pet friendly* with a fully fenced and secluded yard and two car drive way for your convenience. Located a short 4 blocks from the center of Old Colorado City, and minutes from scenic Garden of the Gods! For your comfort this cottage has a double size bed, and queen sized hide away bed! Also, the kitchen is stocked a microwave, oven, fridge, along with necessary eating/cooking utensils.
Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are hard wired for your safety.
Easily accessible from both I-25 and highway 24 makes this cottage in the perfect spot for vacation!

Cute little cottage in a great location
We enjoyed this small cottage; it was centrally located for CO & Manitou Springs, good full kitchen and fenced yard for our dog. It was a good size for the 2 of us for our stay. Would stay here again!

The location of the property was perfect for all the plans we had for visiting and touring the area. The Cottage was comfortable and had everything provided that we needed. At first, we had problems unlocking and locking the front door; but after working with it we did get it to work.

Location location location!
We loved this place so much we extended our stay while there. It’s close to everything you need whether you’re hiking or looking for a new restaurant! The fenced in privacy yard was the cherry on top and we felt very secure (and our dogs loved it) !

Great Stay!
My husband and I stayed here while we were in the process of moving to Colorado and looking for a place to live. This was such a great place to stay and was a great location. It was very clean and pet friendly. The back yard was definitely a plus for our dog too especially because it was fully fenced. I would highly recommend this cottage to any couple!

Over all we enjoyed our stay. The Colorado Springs area has a ton of things to do. As far as the rental it is small but fine for the two of us. A couple recommendations I would make to the owner, replace the warn out couch, and dispose of the chairs in the back yard that are ripped and not suited to sit in.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this cottage and really enjoyed it. In fact, the first words my husband said after walking in was "it smells so clean!". The couch could use replacing, but sitting outside on the private patio made up for it. It is also hard to beat the location! We would definitely stay again!

Friendly Cottage We Did Go!
A friendly cottage we did go, in old and wild Colorado, The bed for two we did not mind, but no closet or dresser for clothes did we find. The shower was not meant for two, no dinner table to entertain a friendly few. ADA broke all the rules, rugs dancing around the floor, the hardest part getting through the front door. With hands held tight, no end in sight, the week was just right.

I was in Colorado Springs to visit a friend. Communication with the host was great. Always available to answer my questions. He went above and beyond with the check in process for me. Cute little house. Very pet friendly. I would stay there on my next visit if available.

Holiday Getaway
This property was just what I needed while visiting my daughter who lives nearby. Property is small, but I was mostly just using it for sleeping. My only complaint would be the backyard. It was filthy from other dogs. I cleaned up after my pet, and would expect that the host would clean up if other visitors weren't as considerate.

Place to shower, crash, and watch a little TV.
Great price, comfortable, simple, and everything I needed it to be. I was in town to enjoy the outdoors and that's primarily what I did. For that it was perfect. Had rented a motorcycle and there was space in the little back yard/patio area to keep that each night. Manager was extremely nice and even went the extra mile by letting me mail a package to myself out there ahead of time to make travel easier on me. Easy to contact them too.

Little cabin in the city
The pictures made the place look bigger than it was. It was big enough for the two of us. Even though a couple things didnt go right (location of the key and fire pit) it was fixed right away. The only thing a little hard was the sound of the air conditioner in the bedroom. It's very loud. We'd stay there again.

Needs help
House is in an awesome location. Couch ineeds replaced as cushions fall down into the base. No other chairs to sit inside. Tv remotes didn’t work. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the 2 room home. May have just broken and temporary air is right at your head and that didn’t cool anything either. We were only there 2 days so we did not contact the owner.

Could use some updating
The web site said property was updated but older reviews stated that the couch needed to be replaced. And it certainly does, we assumed that recent updates would include a new couch. Very uncomfortable to sit on. There was only one roll of toilet tissue and a half a roll of paper towels which didn’t last the week. No towels in kitchen. Only 4 towels and 4 wash cloths. We had to go to laundromat middle of week. Previous guests did not clean up outside after their dog.

Small but comfortable
I had to make a quick visit for a family emergency. The cottage was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The outside area was small but would do the job for a single or couple. Only issue, all the chairs at the outdoor table were broken. I couldn't sit on them. There was also dog poop, which I am sure was just an overlook. The place was fairly clean, and although it was a very small place it had all I needed. I do wish the couch was either in better shape or newer. It was very sunken. Other than those two issues I really liked it and would stay again. The bedroom, was comfortable, and the bathroom was good as well. I never communicated to the owner about the issues, due to dealing with family situation. However, the communication I did have was very good, and accommodating. The area was very convenient and quiet although off a main road. I didn't hear anything.

Needs TLC
The heat was full blast when we walked in on a 90 degree day. Thermostat said change battery. Called owner said to shut it off. We popped batteries out. Air conditioning unit extremely loud, didn't cool off the place. Internet did not work, batteries in tv remote were corroded. We’re left 1 roll of t.p., less than 1/2 roll of paper towel. This place is not remodeled. We stayed there 3-4 years ago and it was the same decor, only much cleaner. Chairs in yard are dangerous to sit in and there were cobwebs on the wall. Plus the yard needed to be raked up. These are really just small things that need taken care off. We went back because it was so nice before. We enjoyed the stay because we were there to see family. Unfortunately, don’t think I will stay again☹️

The good and the bad
Location was exactly what we were looking for. The property not so much. We arrived late, no outdoor lighting, we planned on using the advertised hide-a-way bed in the couch, it was unusable and there was no linen for it, just a comforter. The couch was very broken down and uncomfortable (also told via e-mail couch was updated). There was no hand soap in the bathroom, advertised as having shampoos, soaps, etc. less than half a roll of paper towels, no extra trash bags and no dish clothes to wash the dishes (there was only a dirty sponge). We had to go buy all the above items. The refrigerator stopped working on Sunday, contacted the proper owner and he apologized for the inconvenience and said he would replace it on Monday, I told him we were leaving early Tuesday morning and asked if he could get us a cooler with some ice thinking that would get us by and it would give him time to get a replacement refrigerator and help to get it inside. He never responded to my message and we never got a cooler or ice. Outside patio was not as advertised. Grill unusable, utensils rusty/dirty. seating had three unusable chairs and two (comfy) recliners. Bed was comfy and bathroom good. Had hard time with TV, no cable, remote needed batteries, need own Roku acct
