Beautifully remodeled, charming victorian home in the heart of Old Colorado City! This cute little romantic 1904 home has a brand new kitchen and beautifully remodeled bathroom with the amazing rain shower. Enjoy all new appliances and bedding, newly landscaped yard, and backyard patio, grill, and fire pit. Ideal for a couple or small family - please note the bathroom entrance is through the master bedroom. The home is located only a few blocks from great shopping, art stores, farmer's markets, coffee shops, and yummy restaurants. This cottage is less than 3 miles from Garden of the Gods, walking distance from downtown Old Colorado City, 2 miles from downtown Colorado Springs and less than 5 miles from Manitou Springs. You couldn't find a better location to enjoy your time in Colorado Springs!

Love the little yellow house!
We’ve stayed at this property a number of times, and will again! We love the great location to hiking trails, restaurants and shops. The hot tub is nice after a day on the trails.

Sweet and quaint - cozy place for 1-2 people
Traveled for work and leisure. My 4th time to stay in this sweet, quaint and cozy house. Comfy bed, updated & stocked kitchen, hot tub. If you appreciate an older neighborhood, this is a great place. Location convenient to all Old Colorado City has to offer! Mountain views are splendid! Will stay here again!

This house was exactly what we needed for our trip to Colorado Springs! It is in the perfect location-close to everything and the hot tub was just the cherry on top! I would 1000% stay here again!

Perfect place - feels like home!!
Welcoming space - feels like my home away from home! Comfy bed, spacious kitchen and nice living / den area! The hot tub is an added bonus. The yard is spacious - fire pit / chairs are there and I can’t wait to enjoy the yard in a return trip! Great for 1-2 people! Close to attractions, shops, grocery stores, etc.

Cute House
My husband and I stayed in this clean and comfortable cottage for five nights. The location is great with many restaurants nearby and within easy driving distance of the main attractions in the area. We needed to contact the owners a few times during our stay and we were impressed with their timely responses and consideration.

Great little bungalow
We stayed for a girls weekend. The house was cute and clean and the neighborhood was great. Parking was easy and it was so nice to be able to take a short walk to all the restaurants, cafes and shops in old colorado city. It was also an easy 10 minute drive to Manitou Springs. If we come back to Old Colorado City would love to stay here again.

This property was clean and well maintained! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! No matter where we wanted to visit, it was not far away. The owners were easy to work with. I was able to add a night after the original booking. I highly recommend this VRBO!!

Perfect Location
Close to all that Colorado and Manitou Springs have to offer, and loved that we could walk to coffee shops, breweries, and family restaurants in Old Colorado City. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the backyard—including a hot tub—was peaceful and relaxing. And, communication with the host was outstanding! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cute, yellow house as perfect place to stay while exploring Colorado.

We were looking for something convenient to Manitou Springs, hiking and the Air Force Academy. This little house is in a quiet neighborhood, it was perfect for two of us and we appreciate the attention to detail if the owners have paid. There were a few lightbulbs out and some spring cleaning that needs to be done outside but everything was very nice for our stay

Great Location
I didn't have a car, and I didn't need one. The property is walking distance from several great restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The Saturday Farmers market was fun too. The property manager was very helpful and communication was simple and quick. With the electronic door keypad, the contactless check in and check out was very efficient, and truly appreciated. I enjoyed spending time in the private hot tub! I would definitely stay here again!

Beds were not up to standard.
Beautiful home, very near shaopping and recreation. Unfortunately, the beds were painfully uncomfortable. Had this been a hotel, we would have left. We come to the Colorado Springs area multiple times a year and had high hopes for this rental. Unless they upgrade their beds, we will stay elsewhere.

Excellent location and communication!
Everything about our stay was was fantastic! Ann’s communication was clear, concise and timely. She provided the checkin and checkout information and promptly answered any questions. We loved the location of the home as we could walk to the local CF Gym and all the fantastic local restaurants daily. It’s also located on the route to take to ski Breckinridge, which is less then a two hour drive from the home. The hot tub was clean, and we enjoyed it one night after skiing. The home was clean, organized, and had all the necessary kitchen utensils. The bathroom has been recently renovated, and the rain shower was superb. The place is in an excellent location and serves as an easy, stressless home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Couple's Getaway
We do not like giving negative reviews ,but we felt we should let the owner and future guests be aware of a couple of things. Pics are old. The property needs serious cleaning (outside). Hot tub area was dirty. After I swept the area, my wife still did not want to get in. Outdoor grill had grease on the patio. Arriving at the house the neighbor's house on the left looked empty and weeds were waist high. Neighbor on the right had a car on jack stands out front. Didn't look like it was going to be fixed anytime soon. Kitchen was nice and well stocked. The ice trays were broken so had to buy ice. Guess the cleaning people don't look in there. The bathroom was very nice. The TV's were great! The house is in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. The house is very cute and has been updated in many areas, but the outside needs attention. .

Nice, updated, modern, clean, centrally located, quiet neighborhood
Overall we were happy with our stay. The house itself was nice and has recently been updated. The shower is awesome and the kitchen is very nice. The neighborhood was quiet and was in a convenient area which is close to many things in CO Springs or is a good spot to head out of town for other activities. We were happy with the dishes available and the other supplies such as soap and tp. We did the various check out tasks which included starting some dishes, laundry, and taking out the trash and were happy to receive our full deposit back quickly. A couple negatives, which we felt were minor enough to not affect the rating. The microwave was broke, it happens and maybe previous guests didn't mention it to the owners but it was a slight inconvenience. Also, the house is small, if you're used to Texas sized homes you might feel cramped but the house is normal for the neighborhood. Lastly, I wasn't a fan of the list of chores to do before checking out in addition to paying cleaning fee. I wouldn't mind one or the other, but as a paying guest I'd prefer to not have both.

Very Peaceful
I would give this house a 5 star except for just a few minor things. I'll say the cons first. ( which may not be cons to other people): Night stands are almost non functional, air conditioner in main bedroom is right by your ear. We just cooled the house down very well and then turned it off at night and turned the ceiling fan on. The a/c is right in the middle of the daybed. The faucet in the bathroom doesn't have a long enough spout, so every time you use it, water gets all piled up on the sink. We just kept a hand towel there. For me, the master closet was unusable because the room entry door and closet door were too close together. I'm use to a chest of drawers ( there's not one) and closet. I made it work by opening up my large suitcase on the day bed and setting out piles of clothes. The daybed room has a small closet that was useful. For us, the house was just the right size, but I wouldn't recommend for 4 unless you travel very lightly. Also, realize you will immediately have to go to the grocery store for t.p., trash bags, anything like that Check out what house has. NOW FOR THE PROS: Very nice neighborhood, loved the living room, very large kitchen. Nice bedding in master and great shower. Nice, peaceful and private backyard with patio and grill and great fire pit and chairs, all,of which we used. Even though the cons seem to outweigh the pros, that's not true, We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cozy Home
Nice neighborhood, with friendly folks. Felt like a small town, but was close to all the things you needed ( food shopping gas etc ). Lovely little home, with a complete and well furnished kitchen. Loved our time there.
