Hillside Cottage-Downtown & Prospect Lake!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. You'll be 5 Blocks from the heart of downtown, the courthouse, restaurants and entertainment on Tejon Street and 5 blocks from Prospect Lake and Park. This safe and quiet neighborhood has views of Pikes Peak and downtown.
A New outdoor space here now!!!! Grill, patio, fire pit, sofa, and outdoor dining! The home is on a large lot. We divided the back yard with a fence and shades to create lots of privacy for you and others in the back yard. The living space on the ground floor has a large window to enjoy the views from inside the home. The sofa has a pull out queen sleeper with an upgraded mattress (gotta have that to sleep well!).
The dining area is small - hey... we can't move the walls! We put in a narrow table that seats 6 really well with a view of the back yard. There's extra eating space at the bar table in the living room. The kitchen is also on this floor and it is well stocked. You have really good knives, dishes, cook ware, an instapot, juicer, and grilling tools so you just bring food. We have well stocked spices to make cooking really easy here.
The bedroom on the ground floor has a King Bed, and closet space for hanging clothes and storing suit cases. Two bedrooms are downstairs. One has two twins, the other has a twin trundle that can be used as two twins on one king bed when the trundle is popped up. Twin sheets and king sheets are provided so you can configure this room in a manner that suits your group.
There's a large living space downstairs as well with a 54" TV and plenty of space to play games or put the spare queen size portable mattress in the space to spread out sleeping arrangements. And children and babies... we love 'em. We have 8 Kids and currently 10 grand kids (9 of them are under 4 years old) we have the essentials for kiddos under three... a pack and play and two high chairs. If you are flying to Colorado Springs with kids... travel lighter. The essentials for sleeping and eating with young ones are here. Baby monitor too so you can enjoy the back yard even when babies are napping downstairs.
Many homes in Colorado do not have air conditioning, we cool with the Mountain air. The guide book in the home gives direction on cooling. Our days are typically cool at 6500 feet above sea level but on hot days you’ll want to follow directions in the book! There are fans in the rooms to help with cooling. Keyless entry with access to the entire property. It’s all yours!
We are available as much or as little as you need.
You can also rent bikes around town and at Prospect Lake. Parking downtown, as you would expect is paid parking for vehicles. If you have a paddle board or other inflatable, Prospect lake is only 5 blocks and they have concerts in the summer.
