Home away from home
Removed from the busy lifestyle gives you a sense of renewal. Had everything we needed for a week of escape from the hustle and bustle. Dan is amazing and hospitable. Also very close to my sister's place 10 minutes away!

Loved it!
This property and home was absolutely beautiful. The view was gorgeous both inside and out on the wrap around patio. We had access to the whole property and enjoyed exploring with our children and dogs. Dan was wonderful to work with and the on site ranch caretaker was friendly and helpful. Two beautiful and friendly horses were also present at the time of our stay. We could not have asked for a better weekend get away!!

The cabin was beautiful! The view from all sides, but the best was the view from the living room and bedroom! The owners (husband and wife) provide a welcome basket of goodies for you. If you need some space and quiet from the hustle and bustle or used to living a stone throw away from your neighbors, try this amazing cabin with a relaxed setting with a house that sits on 45 acres. For those that get cabin fever from too much rest, try ATV or dirt bike trails 15-20 mins away or other destinations like Lake George, Cripple Creek and Eleven Mile which has a park that is not a state park, but as of March 2023 $9.00 per car. Whatever speed you enjoy, come back to a full kitchen, outdoor under-cover propane grill, wood burning fireplace, stars at night on wrap around deck and beautiful scenic views.

Mountain Getaway
The three of us and our two dogs stayed at this cabin for 2 nights and we wished it was longer! The cabin is amazing and spacious. We planned to stay in while also doing some flyfishing at nearby spots like Eleven Mile Reservoir and Dream Stream so this was the perfect home. It provided all of the necessary amenities we needed to cook, grill, and stay in if we wanted to. During the day, we enjoyed an unplugged stay playing board games, preparing a meal, or just taking in the views from the deck. The views from the cabin are truly mesmerizing and breathtaking. It's the picturesque view of Pikes Peak with hills of open land and to the left you see the horses walking around, how amazing! At night, during our stroll around the property, the sky just fills with stars! We really loved it here, it was so serene and made our stay so memorable. Dan, the homeowner was super accommodating, quick to respond, and friendly.

2nd time visitor???
We stayed here last year and absolutely loved it, so when we had a couple of extra days off, we decided we would try to get back up here. It was so cozy and peaceful and snowed one night while we were there. It really didn’t matter because the home itself isn’t amazing and we just enjoy being there! We were lucky enough to see a lot of antelope and deer as well. If anybody’s thinking of staying here, I highly recommend it! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Anniversary Trip
We had a wonderful stay! When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine, dog treats, snacks and a note saying Happy Anniversary!. The home was clean with the necessities that we needed. Love the hummingbirds, blue birds, saw antelope. I love to take photos and have some amazing shots. The property was amazing loved taking long walks in the evening so quiet and relaxing. The host was very accommodating with information and followed up with a call to see how we enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a very peaceful and relaxing trip! We would highly recommend this property for your vacation stay.

Lovely Time
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The views are magnificent and seeing all the wildlife makes everything that much more fun. The host was a very nice man who checked in with us before and after our trip to make sure all was well. Just a great time! (Just a minor issue of needing an additional set of curtains in the upper bedroom for those who love to sleep late! 😉)

Relaxing country cabin
We loved everything about this cabin. The owner was very helpful and answered any questions we had including staying an extra day because we enjoyed the place so much. It you love nature, peace and quiet and just a country setting. This is the place to stay. The cabin is in my opinion a central hub to multiple places to visit, including Breckenridge, Colorado springs, Manitou springs, cripple creek and a few others. If I could give more stars for this cabin and the owners, I would give them both a 10 out 10 review. We enjoyed it and would stay again in the future. Our family just wants to thank the owners for letting us stay in their home and get to enjoy the things they love and see on a regular basis. We loved watching the horses every morning, seeing the pronghorn antelope, mule deer, humming birds, and on the last day seeing a brown bear in the valley.

Lovely Mountain Getaway
I booked this cabin for a summer get away with my siblings. We were visiting family in Colorado Springs and wanted to stay somewhere more woodsy. The house was remote and picturesque just like we wanted. Truly gorgeous!! We saw deer in the mornings and rose with the sun each day. The views from the porch were spectacular and the open floor plan was perfect for hanging out. Dan the host made it super easy to check in and out and was very communicative. Would stay here again!
