Colorado Hikers Hideaway! Tiny Cabin and Vintage Camper in the Rockies

Welcome to your beautiful CO Hikers Hideaway! The site consists of a tiny cabin, retro camper and primitive campsite. This premier site is located in the Florissant CO rocky mountains. The cabin sleeps four, the vintage camper sleeps two, and the primitive campsite sleeps up to four (bring your own tent and equipment). There is plenty of room to put up additional tents at all sites. Enjoy glamping at it's finest!

The site is located on five acres of mature forest in the quiet and serene Rocky Mountains of Teller County Colorado. The National Forest is less than three miles away. Explore endless hiking trails and Gold Medal fishing at Eleven Mile Reservoir and Canyon, as well as the North Platte River. Off road vehicles are welcome in the National Forest. Rockhounding nearby as well as the Florissant Fossil Beds. Visit Cripple Creek Colorado, a historic mining town only 30 minutes away if your fancy is gambling. Located less than an hour and a half from world class skiing and snowboarding at Breckenridge and Monarch Mountain Resorts. Located 30 minutes from Woodland Park CO, approximately 1 hour from downtown Colorado Springs. Convenient grocery, liquor stores, gas and restaurants within the quaint town of Florissant is only three miles away. It is also very close to many of the must-sees that southern Colorado has to offer including Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, and Pikes Peak!

Guest access
You can enjoy the whole space. Picnic table, BBQ grill, fire pits, horseshoes, corn hole. Feel free to bring your fur babies, but remember that wildlife is prevalent. Please respect our beautiful property and we welcome you to feel at home. Low noise, respectful guests are welcome. Leave No Trace Principles honored here so others may enjoy this mountain paradise.

Other things to note:
Our site is dog-friendly. The guest is required to disclose their breed, and have approval from the host. Guests must pay the fee before arrival. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. There is a $25 fee per dog. Dogs are required to stay off all furniture. The owner is required to pick up waste on the grounds. If they are left alone on the property, they must be in a crate. Host reserves the right to keep all/partial deposits if rules are not followed.
