Welcome to our vacation getaway!

Come and enjoy all the amenities that nature has to offer. The serene setting will take all your cares away. Complete remodel competed April 2019. Situated on one of the highest peaks in the area, our mountain cabin is located on 5 secluded acres. The views of Pikes Peak are breathtaking no matter what the season. Watch the aspen leaves change color before your eyes in the Fall. Listen to the unbelievable quiet as the snow falls in Winter. Our cabin will comfortably sleep 6. The fully equipped kitchen and gas BBQ make it feel like home away from home. The linens are plush and the beds are cozy. If you like hiking and adventure, we are are close to Mueller State park and the Crags. Plenty of room to park your ATV's and dirt bikes and great riding trails are nearby.

Great place to stay. Secluded. Animals roam all around the property. Lots of amenities and games to enjoy. Recommend for visiting the Royal Gorge, Mueller State Park and just hanging out with the family. 🔥

50th Birthday trip
Super cute and peaceful cabin. We had 7 1/2 inches snow on the first day (the locals later told us that it always snows on Mother's Day). We came to the area to hike the Manitou Incline. Wish we had been able to do more hiking but the trails were pretty wet from the snow, sleet, rain and hail we had during the week. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores within driving distance. We plan on returning to explore this area again.

Mountain Paradise!
The cabin was clean and cozy in a perfect location with amazing mountain views. It is in a very private location yet close to the town of Divide (grocery, restaurant, gas) as well as attractions like Mueller State Park (trails), Royal Gorge, Cripple Creek (casinos) and Pikes Peak. Our hike to Horsethief Falls trail was just minutes drive from the cabin and a highlight of our stay. Tadd & Julie (hosts) were responsive to all of our needs. We are so appreciative to be able to experience this mountain paradise. Thank you Tadd and Julie. We look forward to returning soon!

Highly recommend for people with no issues going up and down stairs. Beautiful cabin and scenery
The cabin is very clean, updated and staged nicely. It is much more suitable for anyone who does not have physical or age issues that make climbing stairs difficult. We were a group of average age 70 and found the stairs really tough in such a high altitude. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn't have such issues. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, everything clean. Nice location in close proximity to many areas of interest. We had 2 Grand Wagoneers and did not have "trouble" going up and down the lane, it was just a little intimidating right as you leave the road to the driveway and visa versa. Could see where small vehicles might have issues. Great place for people younger than ourselves. Had mule deers right outside kitchen window one morning. Lots of birds too. Tadd was great to communicate with.

This is a great property with a breathtaking view. The listing could be a bit forthcoming about the driveway being so steep at the road. A 4×4 is a must if it snows, which it did all four days of our April stay. Still, our stay was exceptional and the light snow just added to the appeal of the views. Peaceful doesn't begin to describe this property.

Cutest Cabin with beautiful scenery!
The cabin is exactly as described and the owners go above and beyond to provide little amenities in the cabin that were appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the linens were nice. The lighting in the living/kitchen area took a little bit of getting used to because it is mostly lamps and dim lighting. The fireplace was nice and there was wood provided. The driveway is quite steep, but Tadd had contacted us before our arrival to make sure we would be in a 4WD/AWD. We were thankful he did that because we really felt we needed it due to the snow. My kids loved the steep driveway to sled on! We really enjoyed the location and how beautiful it was in the area. Something that is not listed in the listing is that the homeowners request that you only wash two loads of laundry during your stay. We are a family of 5 and often pack with the intent to wash daily. We were able to adjust to this, but I would have packed a little more if I had known in advance. This isn't a big deal but thought it may help another mom while packing for your stay. We also had a hard time with the thermostat. It was preprogrammed with the temps, so if we changed it would default back. It wasn't a big deal, but there were a couple of times we wanted to warm up the cabin a little more and we didn't seem to be able to do that (this could have been a partial user error, but it is preset also). The upstairs would be quite cold at night. The bottom floor has a separate fireplace to warm the room. The wifi was great because we had no cell service! The property was perfect for our family of 5. My 10-year-old twins loved the twin bed loft and my 13-year-old daughter loved to have her own room. There is such a nice flow and aesthetic in the cabin. We only had one complaint and that was that the homeowner went into the cabin while we were not there. They stopped by to check water levels and left a piece of furniture inside. It did feel a little unsettling knowing they had gone into the property. We haven't ever encountered this on a stay before. Overall, this is a great property! I think any family would really enjoy it and the area.

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at this cabin. The cabin was super clean and stocked with everything one could need. Kitchen has plenty of everything needed, including a good supply of spices. Having a crock pot was a big deal since it snowed during our stay and chili and cornbread made it to our menu. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. No one in our party complained they were lacking rest. We didn't use the beautiful deck but I can imagine having breakfast out there would be delightful. The cabin is located on a beautiful piece of property. It's secluded, serene, and just what the doctor ordered. I was in a terrible accident in October 2021, and am just now starting to walk again after a year in a wheelchair. Everything about our recent stay in Colorado was very healing. Oh, don't let the steep driveway scare you. We rented a mini van and navigated it just fine.
