Perfect for the first night in Sri Lanka
Very lovely host and clean rooms. We came straight from the airport and wanted to spend a night in Colombo before traveling further. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung - nur zu Empfehlen, wenn man kein Frühstücker ist, da es kein Essen gibt im Hotel. Das Bad war mittelmäßig (Schimmel, da kein Fenster). Man sollte ein Zimmer nicht mit Meerblick nehmen, da es sehr laut ist (liegt an der Hauptstraße).

CJ the owner is a very good man and he had some recommendations for me during my stay in Colombo. Location is really good, near everything in the main part of the city. Room was good, bed comfortable. I was a little sick so spent a lot of time in the room.

La zona era brutta, il bagno era in comune e sporco, la WiFi non funzionante...per non parlare della dell'arroganza offensiva e maleducata di uno dei due gestori. Ho vissuto un'esperienza molto sgradevole e, per la delicatezza della questione, preferisco non esporre qui le mie rimostranze bensì rendermi disponibile per chiarimenti mediante altri canali. This is good for short stay, single traveler.
This is a small house which converted as hotel, the house I stayed it was 03 rooms hotel with shared bathroom. Think first before booking. But its highly priced.Room inside wifi coverage is poor, Hotel owner is tripical srilankan with mind set up NO in all aspect.:)

No fan and AC also wasn't working. No staff.
Though the sea facing room had a brilliant view, nothing else is great about this place. It was hot and there was no fan in the room. The AC was old and not working. We couldn't even sleep. The washroom didn't even have soap and there was not even a single staff person to assist us. Too expensive for nothing.

Hyggeligt og komfortabelt
Vi overnattede 2 nætter på CJ Villas hvilket var rigtig fint for os, da vi lige skulle bruge et par dage til, at komme ovenpå efter flyveturen. Hotellet ligger dejligt ud til vandet, og i gåafstand til mange ting. Værterne var rigtig flinke og hjælpsomme mht. hvor man burde spise og hvad man burde se.

オーナーさんが丁寧な過ごしやすいホテル
海は目の前ですが泳げる環境ではないです。 シャワー&トイレは共同ですが問題なく過ごせました。 ヨーロッパ人？のオーナーパパさんがとても良い方で英語が全くダメな私でも理解力があるのでタクシーのチャーターや観光の予約がとてもスムーズにでき助かりました。 近所には中華料理、マッサージ、コンビニがあるので便利です。 目の前は道路なのですぐにタクシートゥクトゥクが捕まります。

Nice but a bit noisy place
The place is very nice and clean, not so far from the city center. All is new and modern inside. The rooms that are facing to the ocean are very noisy. Main reason for it is that between the hotel and the ocean passing a highway and a railway, both active day and night. The owner did the effort to put some acoustic windows, but for some reason just on part of the windows, so the noise is still getting in and disturbing. The owner and the manager are very nice persons, helped us to order taxi and gave some advises about the city. Also allowed us late check out for a reasonable fee.

Perfect for an overnight
Stayed here with my adult son and wife overnight. Shared bathroom worked out fine and the fridge and kitchen downstairs made it easy to store the fruit we were carrying. Its right across from the ocean which is lovely, but on a busy street--not bad with the a/c on. Place was clean and comfortable. Had a bit of a problem finding someone to tell us where to go when we first arrived, and he didn't make much effort to help us get into the place, but other than that I liked the place and would stay again.
