"The location of the house was superb for morning and afternoons on the beach for swimming, relaxing and introducing a toddler to the sea. The house itself was beautifully equipped and comfortable for us all, and the small town perfect for early morning coffee and excellent croissants with a choice of small restaurants for other meals. Great location for exploring the sights of Normandy too."

"This property offer a lot to a vacationer. A lot of Beds and Baths means everyone gets what they need. So many amenities . On street parking was not a problem since it is a dead end street. A few learning curves to handle for someone visiting from another country. Still, it is worth the effort."

Maison très bien équipée, et propre. Communication très fluide avec les propriétaires. "This was a delightfully comfortable stay in a classic family home. It honestly was so sweet and the backyard was a delight. We even got to cook out. The town of Houlgate is so charming and walkable. Make sure to visit the mid week market that is one block down from this home. Renting a bike from the local business gave more reach to our wanderings and the sunsets over the beach are amazing. This stay was a delight and Sophie was wonderful and so accommodating."

"The size and location were good. I had thought that there was private parking but it was actually on the road side. Luckily the road was very quiet. The fittings - furniture, bathroom fittings and kitchen ware - were old and worn. There was lots of crockery but few pieces of cutlery and mugs - unless you wanted chipped or plastic ones. Bearing in mind the house was for 6 this (mugs and cutlery) would have been a problem but we had our own mugs and were often only 2 in the house. The house was...
