As part of the estate of the stunning 18th-century Villa Faccioli, this ground-floor property makes a stylish base for an exciting holiday, exploring some of Italy’s most famous vineyards and cities.

This apartment is full of character. Two arched double doors lead from the courtyard terrace into the main living area which has high beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The living room is furnished with two sofas, armchairs, a flat-screen TV and a dining table. A wide doorway leads into the pretty, fitted kitchen which is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Moka coffee machine and a smaller dining table for snacks or coffee.

There are extensive, beautiful communal gardens, a private terrace for meals al fresco, a shaded children’s play area and a lovely shared swimming pool with an open shower, sun loungers and parasols where guests can relax after a refreshing swim.

Sleeping
Bedroom: Up a couple of stone steps, off the living room, the spacious master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and extensive storage.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathroom
Bathroom 1: En suite to the master bedroom, the attractive bathroom has a full bath with a shower head, a separate shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: Off the living area, this bathroom has a shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Location
Surrounded by vineyards and the famously beautiful Veronese hills, this apartment is a tranquil retreat in some of the finest countryside in Italy. For wine lovers, there are numerous walking and cycling routes through the Valpolicella region (30 minutes). Or the town of Soave is closer to hand, just 10 minutes away.

The surrounding region offers a glimpse of Italy’s fascinating history and culture. Venice is just 1hr 10minutes away by car. The city of Verona (30 minutes) which hosts the internationally acclaimed Opera Festival (July & August), makes another great day out. Vincenza, famous for its Palladio villas is 35 minutes away.

For self-catering, Colognola ai Colli’s (5 minutes) small weekly market takes place every Thursday. Here you can find the best local cheeses, vegetables and fruit. For everything else there are supermarkets close by. If guests do not feel like cooking then there are several excellent restaurants close by.

The closest international airport is at Verona (30 minutes) or alternatively Venice airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away by car.
