Nice, tidy hotel, good for business travellers who want to get in and out. The location is a bit out of the city so need to use trams if you’re a tourist, but this was only a 10 minute walk to the stop. Surrounding area is a little industrial but a McDonald’s and a Lidl mean you can survive. The TV in the room was mostly German speaking or didn’t work at all so this was disappointing. The breakfast was poor at 8.5euro for the usual cold meat and bread selection, though the coffee is good. I would stay again but purely for business or only in the knowledge that I wanted somewhere to sleep and shower, which it does excellently!

Very good hotel, clean and modern, minimal but would definitely recommend, good location only 10 min walk to train station to get into centre of Cologne, had breakfast one morning which was good, all you need, would stay again if in the area.

I book a room at Premiere Koeln for one night Friday with 149 Euro.As it was a busy weekend and the rating that the place got was high, I assumed that it will be a good idea to stay there even that it is far from the center. I was very wrong. The room that I got was very very small and as there was not enough room for a sink in the bathroom they put it the room.There was not even a closet but some few hangers on a rod. There wasn't even a kettle to have a hot tea during the cold evening. At least the room was clean. During the next day I wanted to go to a toilet after I return the keys,,,,,,and it was a big mistake as they do not have a toilet in the lobby.

WONDERFUL place to be at. I would have given 5 stars, but their parking lot is designed in one section where there is a parking spot that looks to be one, but isn't. A guy parked there and 4 cars couldn't get out. Some other cool British guy helped me pull forward across the curb, grass then street curb where I scraped the bottom of my car. I asked the hotel staff if they knew who the car belonged to, they didn't. So,.. if you park there, make sure you know where not to get stuck at.

Good hotel let down by no AC
Good hotel, great staff but there is no AC as advertised, it is a fan and a very slow one at that. No cooling at all, be wary if staying here over summer.

Overnight stay close to hwy, out of the city
Reasonable price for an overnight hotel stay in an industrial estate off one of Cologne’s main arterial highways. Rooms are small, could have benefitted from a kettle & tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast is a slightly smaller spread but fresh all the same. Note if you arrive late there are few dining options by foot. There is a grocery store but it wasn’t open late or early for me to visit.

Clean, close to transit and grocery
The hotel was located pretty far outside the city. It was close to a grocery store. The overground train was about a 15 minute walk away and then about 40 minutes to the city. The staff didn't know very much with regards to the questions I had but weren't rude about it at all. The room was good/clean.

Frechen has a lot to offer
Modern hotel. About 8 miles from the centre of Koln. Easy motorway access. On trading estate so can park in road if car park full. Good value.

Great hotel.
Lovely hotel. 10 minutes walk to the train station for a 20 ride to the centre of Cologne. Large supermarket just across the road. Hotel is on an industrial estate but not noisy. Breakfast is a bit expensive, cheaper to eat in the supermarket cafe.

Inexpensive Stay with Full Comfort
It was very comfortable stay with courteous staff. No frills attached, the hotel is located in an industrial area which is quiet and silent. Lots of parking helped and hotel's location is close to tram station. So, it greatly helps to travel to Koln conveniently without worrying for parking charges in the city.

Nice and clean hotel
Nice and clean hotel with helpful staffs. Sound proof is not that great but still ok. The room is not big but it's very clean and big enough for me and my friend. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to the tram stop and another 30 minutes to the city central so if you are a traveller that doesn't have a tight schedule, it would be a good choice. Overall we like it.

Another Hotel That Lies About AC
Hotel advertised AC on hotels.com. Room was not Air Conditioned. I had employees come to my room two times to show me that "nothing was wrong" and how to set the AC. After six hours room was warmer than outside temperature. This is not AC! Do not book this hotel in summer. You will be hot and not able to sleep. I left the hotel after one sleepless night and will be contacting Master Card for charge back.
