"Stayed here for an 80th birthday celebration. Very well equipped property with lovely rooms. Lovely kitchen area and conservatory room offering a great space for all being together. Enjoyed the hot tub and the children loved the play area. Would recommend for a large group/party. "

"There were 20 of us from 17-93 for this 70th birthday weeklong celebration. The house was beautiful, very well appointed and although grand felt like home. Plenty to enjoy in the lovely grounds - tennis matches/ croquet / hot tub under the stars. Very helpful housekeeper swiftly tackled any minor issues. We had the most amazing time."

"We had a great family weekend here. The home was extremely well positioned, just off the High Street, so convenient for shopping and restaurants. It is located down a narrow lane, at the end of which is a parking bay for one car. We found everything we needed for 5, cooking and eating in the house, as well as in local restaurants. "The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. However, 2 things let it down.... the doors didn't close properly, and for me the biggest one was no wifi. Its listed as available but I could'nt get it to work, that combined with poor mobile signal made it difficult to make arrangements with family locally. Very nice non the less."

"We had a long weekend with friends at the property, which is exactly as it looks in the photos. Nice rooms, big kitchen and a large living space with really cool decor. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a local town within 10 minutes drive so easy to get to. Highly recomend."
