"This apartment is in an ideal location very close to the cathedral as well as the main shopping street. Also, because it is a bit tucked away, it is very quiet at night. The host communicated with us quickly and clearly, and even notified us ahead of time when a special religious festival was rescheduled to take place during our stay. There is a charming courtyard and clean, new furnishings. The cave-like interior has interesting exposed brick. A great place to stay in Orvieto!"

"The bed is the most uncomfortable and feels a piece of wood. Gave us backache every day. The owner should buy a new mattress!!!! One has to find an outlet to the toaster and everything. It was the worst we have stayed in VRBO. ."

"Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. "We spent wonderful week there. The hosts are very welcome and ready to give you any help you need. The place is quiet and there is beautiful panorama from the taras. The house is comfortable, clean and cosy. The jacuzzi is also amazing thing on top of it. It's a good base for visiting many places in Umbria. It's possible to get from the house to provincionale road in 7 minutes."

"Even though this house was out of the way it was comfortable, spacious and provided us with a serene space after each day of sight seeing and travel in both Umbria and Tuscany. It was just what we were looking for to accomodate our family group and we enjoyed many good times. The siting of the apartment was a plus as we were able to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our eyrie."

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
