This was my 1st time using VRBO and right out of the gate Jean was there to help me along. She was a gracious host and answered all questions promptly. Her property was top notch and enjoyed the quiet location. Would highly recommend this quiet get away to any couple.

My wife and I were on a two week fall foliage viewing adventure. We stayed at this private cabin for two nights and it was the most enjoyable weekend of our trip. We were pleasantly surprised at the quiet remote feeling location and the view and sound of the running creek from the back porch was amazing. We would highly recommend this get-a-way treasure.
We had a nice relaxing stay. The river in the back was nice to sleep too. It was nice to not hear trucks, and trains, and planes. Where we live this is what we have.
We will recommend this slice of piece and quiet to all our friends.
This cabin looked perfect for us to spend a weekend snowmobiling up north. It was even nicer when we got up there!!! Super clean, super cozy atmosphere, and bigger than we thought! The river is literally right off the back deck, it’s the last house on a dead end road with plenty of space to turn and park a trailer, also the beginning of the trail starts from this property. We definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!
We booked an extended stay a year in advance for the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Both the eclipse and property did not disappoint. Perfect for a couple. The steak was active from spring snow melt and run-off. Reasonably priced and well equipped kitchen. Having extra pantry items a plus. As a owner we also highly recommend.
When you can walk out behind your cabin with a Fly Rod and land a Brook Trout & Rainbow Trout, Life is Good.
Heaven on Earth. Cabin fully stocked, detailed, clean,
comfortable, all functioning. Quiet secluded road away from the world, just the gorgeous river running by out back to lull you to sleep. Just minutes from Downtown with Good Eats, Groceries, and Dixville Notch around the corner. Will definitely return.
We absolutely loved this cabin. Great for two people and pet friendly. Private and beautiful setting on the stream. We enjoyed the trail behind the cabin as well. The road leads to snowmobile trails. The cabin had every detail covered. Well equipped and decorated perfectly. I was sad to leave. The owner was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to go back in the summer.

We loved everything about this place. Quiet and peaceful but with the sweet sound of the creek and birds to lull us to sleep and wake us in the morn.
Everything was spotless and in good working order. Whenever I had questions Jean answered immediately. The inside was charming and looked like a lot of personal workmanship had been spent on the interior. Just beautiful! I can't concieve of a better place to
stay. We will definitely be back!
Thank you so much for having us!
Very clean well maintained. Was perfect for us.
Really appreciated grill was ready to use. Been to a few rentals with grills with no propane.Very nice being right on the river.Wish we had better weather is what it is.So peaceful. Hard to believe how close to rte 3 just so quiet . The IGA is close by. We will definitely be renting again.Wife and i have stayed at a few rentals in the North Woods this was tops to us.
My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful, cabin clean and charming, and the bed was very comfortable. Similar to other comments, the shower was small and water pressure not great, though this did not ruin our experience. We were grateful for the fire pit and this experience.
My husband and I had been looking forward to our stay from the moment we booked it. We were not disappointed, the only disappointment we felt was when we had to leave. It was secluded and right on the trail, which our dog was more than eager to goexplore every morning
Very nice stay. Second time here. Really enjoyed fishing local streams and ponds was great. We love the area will be back.Appreciate there was a extra propane tank as first one ran out. Any one looking for a quiet peaceful place this is it.
Photos on website with streamside location were 'right-on'. The site is located a short distance from the main road.
A higher wattage porch light or an outdoor light directed toward the road would help with accessing the cabin at night.
Very nice interior.
This cottage was the perfect space for a long weekend away! The stream was absolutely beautiful and made for a peaceful stay. Will definitely be staying again!
Loved our stay here in a private cozy cabin with everything needed. The decor was beautifully and thoughtfully selected, lots of warm touches, even dog bowl and leash provided. There’s even an adjustable bed! The cabin is on a gravel road with only one other home on it, so fairly secluded with the stream running right by it and a lovely deck to enjoy it from. But groceries and restaurants are only 10 minutes away. Dixville Notch Park is about 20 minutes away and the Colebrook river walk and bridge crossing into Vermont less than 10 minutes away.
Only thing that could be improved, but not worth knocking off a star, is the small shower.
The owner was quick to communicate and answer questions and access was easy. Would definitely recommend.
Property was clean and in a beautiful location! Owner was communicative and kind! Close enough to town that we could easily go for things but the stream outside our window made it feel like we were camping in the woods. Very peaceful!
Whether we chose to be adventurous or just sit and relax, I am so glad we chose this cabin for our getaway. Close enough to town, but far enough away to enjoy the beauty nature provides in the privacy of our own space!
Beautiful little cabin, in a very quiet spot. Lots of big windows. Wonderful view of the brook out back. Honestly, no better spot to get away and relax for a few nights! Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the brook, right outside your bedroom window. Would DEFINITELY stay again!
