"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! "We had a wonderful weekend stay. The home is spacious and very well laid out. Our group loved to gather in the kitchen and main livingroom area and had a movie night on our second night in the basement, really great set up for a bigger group! Hot tub is a lovely bonus, we didn't have the chance to walk down to the lake but we enjoyed the view from the deck and dinning room. "This was an ideal place for us to stay - short trip to visit family in the area. We like the convenience of a kutchen to make tea, coffee and quick snacks. Location was ideal and the host was lovely - so friendly. Suite had everything we needed, plus extra touches such as toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. "

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"The rental price is high and we expected better. Several small lacks of maintenance on the house. We still enjoyed our stay in Halifax but we will not return to this place. "

Close to terrific restaurants, cafes, and bars, an easy walk to the Gardens, the Citadel, and the Waterfront, we found the location quite convenient. "It was a lovely stay but with only a bathroom on the main floor, which was hard for our seniors to access. Location is good with walking to harbour. "

"Hot tub great. Lighting could have been better. Kitchenette area dark to work in and only had one plug for 4 appliances, made cooking difficult. No TV channels."
