"We were looking for a getaway and this was perfect for us and our two dogs! We’re huge LOTR fans so it was such a great scavenger hunt. The owners’ house and one other rental is on the same property, but they’re spaced far enough for plenty of privacy. The cottage itself doesn’t have a ton of privacy from those you travelled with, but it would still be great for a small family. "My adult children had requested a large house for those who wanted to sleep in, and a communal kitchen space. This cabin had that and more. The water access wasn’t great, as a long steep stairway led to a rocky shoreline. But once there, water activities were wonderful! We would have enjoyed more yard room, but made due with generous neighbors."
