Very nice place great location. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent lots of choice including breakfast options. Room was spacious but think it maybe a little warm in summer months as no air conditioning. Overall stay excellent will definitely return and recommend to friends

Excellent place to stay
We had a really lovely stay at The Crown Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and bed very comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was excellent and the service was great.

Lovely location. Wonderful rear patio garden filled with potted plants. Room was lovely, food excellent. We will be staying again! Very popular and recommend reserving evening table.

An excellent hotel with a touch of luxury. The room was superb, and also the breakfast and dinner. We would stay there again, and another one in the chain.

A gem of a place to stay
What a lovely find! I usually stay in another establishment nearby when I am on business in the area but tried this instead. I stayed in the beautiful attached building in a wonderfully clean and comfortable room. Staff and the service was wonderful and the food choice and quality was at the top level.

Won't hurry back
Very underwhelming considering what we paid. Issues with heating when arrived, were resolved within an hour. Initial booking was showing as single occupier, had phoned / emailed with an update to make it 2 people but had not been picked up. Breakfast selection was very limited, table half empty, initially no pastries, Juices etc and had to wait 45 minutes for a cooked breakfast.

Everything about our stay was superb. All the staff and management were professional, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation, fixtures and fittings etc were high standard and the cooked breakfast was top quality. All of which means we would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Crown to all.

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of storm Henk which was quite stressful but the staff were very welcoming. 15 mins later the whole village lost power. Although we weren’t able to get a cooked meal they produced a delicious charcuterie board by candlelight. The staff were upbeat despite the situation. The room was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again.
