A world-famous "rails to trails” conversion (the Island Line Bike Trail) is just up the road from the driveway to Barney Point. This bike path connects mainland Vermont to the Lake Champlain Islands with the broad expanse of Lake Champlain on one side and outer Malletts Bay (the lake's largest) on the other.
