Family Vacation in VT!
Wonderful stay and great house. Very well stocked, couldn’t beat the swimming and kayaking even with some crazy weather this week. Kyle was very responsive when needed. Loved it!

Very private location with nice lake views and dock. Had a great stay and Kyle was very helpful with everything. Nice place with quiet setting yet still only 15-20 minutes from downtown Burlington. Highly recommended!

Great Home with Amazing Location!
We were visiting the area for the long holiday weekend, and could not have stayed at a better place! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was great, and we cooked steaks on the grill. If you want an amazing view, this house is for you. We spent each night sitting outside listening to the water, and enjoying the fresh air. If you appreciate the outdoors, this is the spot!

Cozy, clean, and had all we needed
Stayed here with a group of friends for a local pond hockey tournament. House had all we could ask for, was clean, comfortable and location was perfect between the Lake and Burlington. Kyle was quick to communicate with, accommodated our late check out request and helped make our trip easy and that much more fun. Highly recommend his place - quite clear it’s the perfect spot to enjoy during any time of the year!

Love this place! Second time here, and was able to take advantage of everything, the dock, the kayaks, the hot tub, and of course the house. Proximity to Burlington is ideal for a fatty trip while the property provides plenty of privacy. Sleeping arrangements did the trick, with 5 of us in the loft amongst the two beds and 3 air mattresses (provided by the property). Cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Beautiful Property on the Water
This cabin on the water was exactly what we were looking for to host a bachelor party for my brother on Lake Champlain. The space was the perfect size for our group, and the location was gorgeous and secluded, as well as a perfect distance from downtown Burlington. We used the location as a launching point to visit local breweries in Stowe, and we also rented a boat at a nearby marina. The host Kyle was very gracious and helpful, and he clearly takes pride in the property. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a lakefront getaway in beautiful Vermont.

Amazing Celebration Weekend
This house was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's graduation from UVM. We comfortably slept 12 family members and then hosted a graduation dinner for some of her friends. It was so nice to be in a home instead of fighting dinner crowds in a restaurant. We played games, went hiking, had bonfires at night, the kids jumped in the lake and we spent the last day in town. The view from the deck was beautiful. Would love to come back in the summer.

Best summer vacation spot on the lake!
Absolutely loved this house, location and spot on the lake! The house had every amenity we could think of but was not cluttered. The kitchen especially was well stocked with utensils, platters, etc. The lake was clean and the dock made for great swimming. The location is private, in a nice wooded area but also a conveniently close to the highway. We enjoyed opening up all of the windows and getting a breeze from the lake. Both Kyle and the housekeeper made us feel welcome. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

A trip down memory lane
The views are spectacular, the water is amazing. The home is well kept and very comfortable for my family of 6 (children, 20. 18, 16, 14) with in-laws in tow. My wife and I graduated from two local colleges and we wanted to visit Burlington after being away for 20+ years but we wanted lake front. This home is outstanding, it's very quiet which is what we wanted. Overall, a spectacular find for my first VRBO experience.

Ringing in the New Year!
The cabin was everything we had hoped for - we especially enjoyed the beautiful lake views. We had a bald eagle pay a visit and enjoyed watching it fly around. It was great to sit around the wood burning stove and watch a movie and see the snow fall outside. We even warmed up in the hot tub and walked through the snow with our barefeet! The neighboring towns were great to visit, Burlington, Stowe and Winooski all still decorated with holiday lights. We were very comfortable in the house and are already planning a visit next year. Thank you it was great!

Exactly as Pictured!
We rented the property for a week in the spring to get away from it all (no husbands, no kids = heaven!) The property is exactly as depicted in the pictures and the kitchen is perfectly stocked to make cooking easy (all the basic tools plus some, and lots of condiments and extras, no need to buy your own). Close to Burlington so we could wander out and shop, dine, tour. Lots to do at the cabin if we didn't feel like leaving (board games, walks on the road, hot tub, wi-fi). My only complaint would be that there was only a Keurig, no coffee maker; I do realize that is probably a bonus for a lot of people! Both Pearse and Kyle were extremely accommodating and friendly. We would come back again in a heartbeat. And perhaps even bring the husbands and kids next time!

Great property
Ours was a party of 5: 2 adults, 2 college students, and 1 high schooler. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room, an Apple TV that we hooked up to our laptop to watch the pathetic presidential debate, a well-stocked kitchen, and the most beautiful scenery. The house was clean and comfy. The location was especially great...far off the main road, but with easy access to the highway so that we could visit Burlington and go apple picking at Shelburne Orchard. So while we felt secluded (a positive for us), in actuality, we were near all the attractions that interested us. Kyle provides a binder full of helpful information as well as instructions for things on the property. He really has made it so that all you have to do is pay the rent, pick up after yourself, and enjoy. We would definitely stay here again. I would love to go back in the summer, when the dock is out and we could enjoy lake activities.

Amazing House in a fantastic location!
The overview: The house was amazing. I think we could have just sat on the comfy couches and stared out the many many windows at the lake all day. It was clean comfortable and in a great location. The Good: - Right on the water with a dock to sit yourself on and soak in the sun - Location, the house is located down a long private road you really feel like you are getting away from it all - Hot tub overlooking the lake! - All the comforts of home and amenities you could ask for including some of the most comfortable couches I have ever sat on. - Hot tub overlooking the lake! I know I already said that but let's be honest it needs to be mentioned twice it's so great. - Only a short drive from all the great spots in downtown Burlington! The hidden details: - It's down a really long private driveway...just keep driving you're on the right track - The loft is amazing and has 2 comfortable beds The final verdict: Kyle was very nice, easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. The house was amazing and my only regret is that I can't stay there every weekend. Also if you missed it the first 2 times, there is a hot tub overlooking the lake.

Great property winter/summer. Huge, well equipped, cozy, nice lake view/access, near main highway.
We enjoyed a great stay here for 6 nights during a family getaway and skiing at Stowe in Dec ‘22. It is a fine property right on Lake Champlain. We are a family of four adults. The place could easily accommodate another whole family with each group having private sleeping space and bathroom. Comfortable beds, plenty of bedding and towels. Kitchen has no shortage of dishes and Utensils. Modern appliances include gas stove, dishwasher, bbq, laundry, plus many others. Hot tub on the deck of master bedroom walkout is quite new and offers amazing lake views. Easy access to the lake down a set of stairs. The bay is very deep - 50 feet - so it would be fun for swimming off the dock and boating (although our stay was in winter). Access to property is via a municipally maintained gravel road about 7 minutes from the interstate highway. Road and private driveway are well maintained. Two gas stations are nearby with basics and beer/wine. Burlington is about 20 minutes away with many restaurants and shops. 2 TVs (no cable). Wifi, Karaoke machine (did not try it). Lots of board games. Air conditioning, central heat, fireplace, wood burning stove. The host Kyle is friendly, quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The place offers the best of both worlds - a remote lakeside experience in the woods yet with the comfort of luxury accommodation. I highly recommend Camp Lawton!

Beautiful Location
We booked this lake house for a short vacation. It is situated on a private lot with direct lake access and beautiful views. We had a couple of hiccups during our stay but Kyle was wonderful to work with and quickly made everything right. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend tranquil days by the lake.
