"Room is clean and well equipped with kitchenette. No aircon, so that's a big negative if you're staying in summer. If you check out early, there's no key drop-off at the remote access gate, so you have to park your vehicle in the driveway, blocking the gate from closing, then run back and drop the key in the reception area. Inconvenient. "

"From the time that we walked in until we left, our Hosts and their staff treated us extremely well. Our room was amazing and the cooked to order breakfast was well done. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola many different varieties of tea and at least 6 different kinds of jam were offered. I can see why Amery House has so many great reviews. We definitely recommend staying here."

"Manor 38 is located in Summerstrand Port Elizabeth. The Manor is beautiful, nicely decorated with spacious bedrooms and bathroom, private television, WiFi, etc. It also has two large sitting rooms, one with a large television and fireplace for all guests to use, plus a gorgeous swimming pool. On negative side -large airy village units only have warmish water not hot - village units outdoor showers had waist high weeds - supper menus are 5 course set menus that are repeated & are expensive for quality - restaurant staff lacking management & training - receptionists could do hostessing/oversight at meal times & spot checks on housekeeping/condition of units and gardens to support and train staff but do not - lack of comfy...

"This was my first time staying here and I was impressed, however, there was only a fan and no aircon in the room during stifling humidity. The shower is over the bath and actually a very high step up over into it. I would not recommend for someone older or who struggles with mobility."

"Die Lage des Cottage ist perfekt. Vom Bett aus konnten wir Elefanten und Kudu-Antilopen im Addo Park sehen. Aber auch direkt hinter dem Zaun des Grundstücks waren Warzenschweine und Antilopen unterwegs. Es war sauber, und alles da, was man benötigt.
