"Was in a refurbished Atrium room. Was comfortable and fresh. However furniture table on balcony had bad cup stains which was a bit of a let down. Atruims currently being refurbished The hotel seems a bit dated in all as most of these grand hotels. Some Atrium balconies could do with a fresh coat of paint or a good scrub. "Lovely place. We stayed with our small dog for a couple of nights. Facilities are amazing, golf, spa, swimming, gym, etc. Set in beautiful, peaceful grounds with easy access to Douglas (20 min drive) We had a 3 course meal in one of the restaurants and not only was the food amazing and very reasonably priced for the quality but it really felt like they went the extra mile... and were happy to. "Originally I was put in a room without a window which wasn’t great - the staff were helpful but I had to double up costs to get a sea view when the hotel wasn’t busy. I thought they could have been a bit more flexible on this "

"Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included.
