"Everything was great. The house was perfect for a girl’s weekend, plenty of space. The location was fantastic. The views around the house looking out toward the lake were stunning, especially in the morning and evenings when the sandhill cranes were out in the back yard. Even though the weather was cold and the lake was frozen, there was plenty to do. We will definitely consider rebooking in the summertime. Overall, we had a great time and the house worked perfectly for our trip."

From the swimming pool, to the pool table, the video games, movie room, chef's kitchen, the choices were endless for every one of family members. "We spent 4 days here to celebrate the new year and had an incredible time! The property fit perfectly for our needs and was in a great location with fantastic food and coffee nearby. The hosts were very responsive, kind and helpful! Would love to stay here again "

"I almost felt like I was part of the Holiday Movie driving through the woods to our sweet home for 2 nights. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. You need to bring plates and cups but we loved that it felt like home. We also had our 2 10 year old boys too. They slept in the living room and we all just loved it. Thank you for our stay."

"This was the perfect house for a family gathering. We had four adults and three children, ages 3, 7, and 11. We invited their cousins who live in Howell for dinner and a Christmas gathering —one child, age 5, and twins, age 7. They had lots of room to play and connect. The house was comfortable and spacious. Bill was invaluable and accessible. We will book this home again when we return to see the family."

"Had a group of people in town for a friends weekend around the MSU v UM football game. This house worked out great for our group. Plenty of community space, a pool table, and even a couple of murphy beds to use as needed. Would book this again. Thank you!"

"Stayed for 4 nights and cooked a turkey dinner for our family. This place was impeccably clean and stocked. It has everything we needed. Comfortable beds? Check. Multiple spaces to hang out? Check! Potato masher? Double check! It was cozy, especially once the snow began to fall."

"This house was plenty big, well equipped and furnished. Susan was amazing and responded to a relatively minor problems immediately. She remedied right away, and was even kind enough to leave a small gift for our pooch. The only down point is that it is truly off the beaten path. If you know that going in, it is not a problem. "

"The kitchenette (lacking an oven/stove) is the only thing lacking in the large space that offers plenty of room for 5 people on two floors, including a covered porch and balcony that grants access to the large property that includes a pond."
