The unit is under the main house and we have made a number of improvements to soundproof the noise from above, however, you will hear some noise.
The space
Located on a large, semi-rural block of land which gives the feeling of being in the country, yet you're only a few minutes from the beach, waterfall trails, restaurants and shopping. On one side is the sea and on the other is native forests. There is an abundance of wildlife, from native birds to wallabies, possums and lizards.
Inside, you'll find a bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival. There is a coffee machine, tea, instant coffee, milk and some cooking essentials. The apartment is comfortable and homely with features to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The main room has a queen-sized bed while the other has a bunk bed with a single bed on top and double bed underneath. There are books and games for both kids and adults alike for rainy days. Beach towels, umbrella, seats, pillows and buckets and shovels are included for when you visit the beach. An additional single bed is available on request. Ceiling fans have been installed in every room and there is an air-conditioner for maximum comfort.
There is a trampoline outside for the kids to play on and a swing for babies and toddlers. The outside is natural bushland and has an abundance of native birds and wildlife. Our aim is to turn the property into a semi-farm stay with chickens, bees and a vege patch to offer guests fresh produce when they stay. We hope to have better outside amenities in the future including a BBQ area and utilisation of the balcony.
The nightly rate is inclusive of cleaning and all we ask is that the apartment be left clean and tidy when you leave.
Guest access
A lock box is used for access. The code will be shared closer to the time of arrival.
The unit is on the ground floor, however the driveway is steep and not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair. The property is unfenced so children may need supervision when outside.
Interactions with Guests
Although my family and I live in the house upstairs, we prefer to leave guests to enjoy their stay without any interruption from us.
Having said that, my Husband and I are only a message or phone call away should you need anything :)

Other things to note
There is a dog on the property and her name is Bella. You will likely not see her as she spends most of her time with us upstairs or doing her favourite thing which is going for walks on the beach :) In the unlikely event that you should meet her, she is large and will likely bark to alert us that there is someone she doesn't know on the property. She is not aggressive and will not approach you but rather bark from a distance.
