"We were welcomed by friendly staff in a beautiful medieval house. The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. "There are not so many hotels in this small town of Coevorden. This one is splendid. What makes it so special is the staff. They are the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. The hotel is fairly basic but kept up very very well. I’ll stay here again."
