Beautiful hotel on the lake ,
Booked a short stay with family whilst visiting family in Seattle, was a bit aprehensive after reading a few negative reviews about the place , But truthfully needn't have worried , was a pure pleasure from beginning to end , really friendly staff , room was a bit small for 4 of us, but knew that prior to booking , beds were really comphy and maid service was excellent , kids really enjoyed the speed boat ride to the pool In all could not fault the place for the money I paid ,

Beautiful hotel on the lake
The best part of our stay was that we were in walking distance to amazing parks, fun shops, and great restaurants! I will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Convenient garage parking and great views of the lake. Strongly recommend the breakfast buffet and the $2 mimosa special. Water taxi transports you across the lake to the pool.

Blah
Don't stay in the North Hotel. The rooms are small, dated, noisy, bouncy beds and bathrooms have very low ceilings so you feel your in a cave. The hotel location is great and the room service is good. Apart from the location, there is nothing special about this place. We did not stay in the tower as it was considerably more expensive. That may have been A better experience and worth a try.

Toilet facilities poor. The toilet is so close to the sink and counter your arm is right up against it. The tissue is way out of reach and you need to take it before you need to use it!!

Tired on the inside.
"Famous" exterior.. hopefully glamorous lobby. Upscale shops lead us to hopeful expectations. When we entered the room it smelled like chlorine. Why of course-it overlooked the pool. True to its limited view heading. Room service was the best part. An opulent motel6.

Classy place with old school charm
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room was very cool and even though it was a non view the view wasn't too bad. The lights in CDA were beautiful. Mini bar snacks and remote control drapes....my kids were in Heaven! Excellent room service. My only complaint I wasn't told I was paying for parking.

Lots of issues
First, the battery was bad in door, requiring new keys. The heat was not working. No hot water the next morning, the valve had to be replaced. Dinner at Beverly's was not up to par

very nice resort, great rooms!
We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The only concern that we had was that one of the glasses on the vanity in the bathroom area was very dirty and appeared to not have been cleaned but attempted to have been only wiped out. Other than that the stay was very nice and we plan to return soon!

Worst experience ever!
Hotel mngr is rude, he didn't even let guests in the Hagadone Suite ($5000/nite room) enjoy their wedding or their stay in the room. Furnace in our room didn't work, had to request space heater to stay warm, had to pay $17 for "self parking" when we were staying there. Horrible experience & way too expensive, would much rather stay in less expensive place and enjoy my time.

Our stay at the lake
The hotel was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. We chose a room with a limited view of the lake which was good value for money. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The first night we ate at Beverley's and we had a great meal with good service. The second night we ate at Cedar's and the hotel booked the table and arranged free transport to and from the restaurant. Again, we had a fantastic meal looking out over the lake.

The hotel is very impressive at first appearance. We were given a room that smelt musty - moldy and was very small. So we inquired with the front desk and were told that was an issue that they new of. So for $50.00 more we were upgraded into a very nice room. The hotel staff was great with the exception of the front desk staff.

Totally gorgeous
This is the best hotel experience we have ever had. The location is unbeatable, on a large lake, surrounded by mountains, next to a really pretty town, a bar overlooking the lake, and the best breakfast we had on our entire holiday. We only stayed one night and plan to come back another time and stay longer. It is absolutely worth paying for a lakeside view and sleep with the (fully automatic!) curtains open so you wake up to that view!

Basic rooms are terrible!
When we checked in we were given a room with a single bed when we had requested two. They blamed it on the fact that we had booked through Expedia. Apparently the entire hotel was booked so we could not move. But that wasn't the worst part: * the room smelled horrible (cigarette smoke and musty) * it was also extremely small! We have stayed in hotels in Europe that were bigger * it did not have a window to the outside - the only window faced a hall so it was dark and stuffy * the walls were so thin that is sounded like the people in the hall and next door were in our room - we could hear every word. This is not a cheap hotel!!! The second night we moved (and paid a lot more for) a lake view room. It was like we were in a different hotel. The room was spacious with a great view. It was a little run down and could have used some work but it was a huge improvement from the first room. I can't believe that a hotel that is suppose to be so luxurious could have such different rooms! I will say that the food in the restaurant, Beverly's was delicious and the staff was great. Our favorite part of the whole weekend was the moscow mules on the terrace.

We were told we would have a room with two double beds. we received a room with one queen bed, with no opportunity to change rooms. There was no fan in the shower. there was no hair dryer. finally, the air system was incredibly loud. All in all , a very bad experience. We had anticipated a treat after a long drive through Yellowstone.mThis was the opposite.

Not worth the money
My dad and I stopped over for one night. We were greatly overcharged for the room. It was rather small and definitely not worth the money we paid. On top of that, the shower barely worked. The water pressure was lackluster unless one chose to be scolded by their shower. It was hard to find a temperature of the water that was bearable and on top of that, the shower didn't even work as it was suggested by the nozzle. Several members of the staff were quite friendly, but overall we found the staff to be downright rude. We will not stay here again.

bark blowing machine
They had a large truck that had bark in the back of it and they were blowing bark into the flowers and shrubs. This was right outside of my room #207 at 7:00AM what a way to wake up!!!! NOT COOL--- I will think twice about staying at this place again just due to that, bark blowing season, who knew. If there is no communication between grounds and reservation the customers pay the price. The staff at the front desk were very sympathetic but once you wake up to that obnoxious noise it just doesn't matter. Attached is the sound clip if you'd like to share the experience but keep in mind this was a 45 min ordeal!!!

Family off Season stay with room upgrade
Above average hotel stay. Hotel has so many things to offer. Lake cruises not started yet for this visit. Construction ongoing in front and surrounding areas. Could not prepay for room and thus found out about other charges upon arrival / departure. Bill credits not very clear and confusing. Recommend calling hotel prior to arrival to fully understand charges and room upgrade possibilities. Was upgraded for a small fee from limited view to full tower lake view. Don't miss the restaurant on the seventh floor, but plan to dress for a nice dinner. Wireless Internet was not really good in room. Had to hard wire, 4G or stand near the entry door to use wireless internet. Very fast elevator probably one of the best elevators in a hotel I have used. Hotel is over the top but my stay was average due to the time of year and landscaping / construction on going at this time.
